To Flash or Not Flash!

 

I  was following the limping dog around the back yard.
Nikon in hand, Beau did not feel like a photo shoot, which meant looking for sunshine pics.
I snapped the first pic above bottom and it was too dark, flipped to flash.


Backed up a few steps and did the flash from behind the fronds and liked the mix of flash and shadows.
I realize now that I was stalking our yard from behind the bushes and this means
Beau is not the only 'person' bored with life. heh heh heh

    Alarms go off when we read the wrds 'bored with life'...we get you though, the edges seem to be closing in, the possibilities are no longer limitless, we are all getting a bit institutionalized in our own homes.

    Flash in-fill can be subtle and bring just what is necessary for illumination... or dramatic with the shadows. Great fun to play with! YAM xx

    With a little imagination you can turn your stalking into great adventures. You can be on a hunting trip in search of wild animals. Or maybe a private detective investigating a case.

    You certainly are entertaining none the less. Your back yard was like a jungle adventure. Like Indiana Jones searching for priceless treasures...and that is NOT what Beau leaves behind. šŸ˜‰šŸ’©.

    Hey..if "stalking" gives you entertainment...why not?
    The flash does make the photos more detailed and interesting.
    You always manage to make an interesting post out of the mundane.

    Nothing can be boring. Flash is not so cool for my vision. Shadows are tough to deal with.

    I love your yard with those exotic looking palnts. I normally prefer non-flash photos, I like the more natural look with the shadows. But I suppose if it would be very, very dark, then we need our flash.
