Test 2 below is one I made and sent to my brother and his wife in their email. None of my family is interested in chatting by video calls of any kind. For some reason I can't seem to talk normally while chatting with the Chromebook.

These are fun...I hope it is not the end. I think the more you do, the more relaxed you would get. You do so good...both with the videos and with learning how.

Eggs and Fried rice. I nearly used every measuring device in the kitchen. I had all the ingredients measured out before I started because this type of meal is all about timing.

ReplyDeleteYeah for you, Sandra, as these test videos were really nice. You have a great on-line presence, friendly and welcoming. Our family also does not do a lot of video chats, so you are not alone in that area. We have done FaceTime chats with friends in VA and OR but not on a regular basis.

ReplyDeleteI hate it when Tom gets on FaceTime with his daughter and I have to watch I'm not in the background; Zoom meetings are even worse. The first time, I didn't like the way my face looked all pointy-down, so I flipped the phone (like I do when taking a selfie) and everyone started laughing -- "You're upside down!"
We haven't watched the videos yet (we will do that tonight). I say: no videos of humans on MY blog. F says she will try to record me 'shouting at the neighbours' but I don't start it if I think she is watching me so it is going to be a tricky exercise.

ReplyDeleteAs everyone says, the videos were great. you sure do sound relaxed and capable . It was nice to hear your accent too. I'm not sure what a chromebook is. Is it the same as a macbook? Our family video chat through facebook messenger.
