Nature Friday Roses for Rosy

 


This years new and different type of Portulaca. 
Since they do resemble roses, this is for Rosy on Nature Friday at Adventures of the LLB Gang.

  2. Yep - they resemble old-fashioned roses like my Grandma used to grow. These days everyone thinks of a tea rose when you say 'rose'.

  5. They resemble the old world, English, roses. I don't recall seeing multiple petaled moss roses. You and I both shared garden/ yard flower blogs today

  13. Sandra - it turns out we have some seeds of portulaca. F bought them back in the winter and hasn't sown them yet. probably too late now - stupid woman.
