Another Aqua house

Leaving the Vet's office with Beau's meds,

I stared at one of my favorite little houses that just 5 weeks ago was cream colored, and my
un-resistible curiosity bump raced all the way home. only 6/10 of a mile.

When did they paint it? Did it Sell? Was it for Sale and I MISSED IT?
As soon as I walked in the door, I went straight to the desktop, I need the BIG Screen the better to dive into Search Mode
I stuck my head into the Black Hole of Google Search and YES!
Last sold in 2015, New siding on the outside 4 weeks ago, and Voila
one of my favorite little houses is now
AQUA!
I did a quick zoom to show you how cute it is.
Now I am trying to figure out why they left that fence that fences NOTHING there.
The fence was there when it sold in 2015, when the house was in disrepair and a flipper bought it and remodeled. And Left The Fence

This is what it looked like a month ago when I picked up Beaus Monthly Meds
It is new siding, not paint.

  1. It was rather cute when it was cream too. The cream probably has more style and less fashion (as in it would span generations). The aqua will go out of fashion and then it will look dowdy. Still, it is very fresh for now. As for the fence, come on now, it's a picket fence; every cute house has to have one (and an old brown dog and a big front porch)...xxx Mr T and F

  2. It looks awful the way it used to be. Now it is pretty, but stll a bit plain. It needs shutters or something.

  5. It sure stands out more with the new siding. It doesn't look like they changed anything to the outside other than the siding. I would love to see the inside.

WEll... I prefer the original colour, but that's just me. As for the fence, always good to know where one's boundaries lie. YAM xx

  7. Hello,
I love the aqua color, cute little house. It could use some plants and curb appeal. The fence does look strange. Take care, enjoy your day!

  8. I think I prefer the original colour as well - not that keen on aqua as colour for a whole house myself. Maybe they are planning to extend the fence? (I think I would...)

  9. I'm not much for aqua homes, but this time, I think it's an improvement.

  10. Wow. I was thinking the owner must own a paint store, then I saw where it's siding. When we had ours done the salesperson said bright colors are all the rage.
I still love the original 'buttercream' but would spend $ for black shutters and a bit of foliage.

  11. I love aqua and I like it on the house. But for me I would make it a brighter yellow and put black shutters and maybe a white door and flowers.

    The fence looks weird! lol

  13. I don't think I could be adventurous enough to paint my house aqua, but I really do like how this house looks.

  14. What a cute little bungalow....I really love the aqua color and siding will give it a long life too.
Good question on that fence. It kind of looks silly . Plants in front of it would give it more personality.
