Hi Sandra :=) David is right, it is a great shot, and I have said it before, you do have an eye for making the ordinary, extraordinary. Your first photo of the sunlit chair and wall, highlights the beautiful colour of the wood and colour of the seat cushion, and makes it an inviting place to sit, so I prefer your first image.
Fun twist! I can almost feel the warmth of that sunbeam on the warm wood. My DIL has a chair just like that; she probably picked up on one of her estate sale visits. Don't you love the arms?
Wood and sunlight - Mevely has already commented on the warmth and we agree and wish to add that is has it's own smell - that kind of warmth. xxx Mr T and F
Love your creative spirit. I do like to go back into my archives and watch some of my old photos. I really like some of them and wish I did more photography. Seems I am becoming a bit lazy in my Old Age. Sue
The way the sun is on it is so beautiful. And I do like the original photo the best!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Ginny, that sun is just perfect and although I enjoy all your effects, I do like the original.
ReplyDeleteA very nice photo and I like your artsy version as well.
ReplyDeletewhat a good idea... as if the room would turn into a time machine... maybe the owner of this chair appears?

ReplyDeleteYou are right to be pleased with that shot - and being one who finds appeal in the abstract, I also appreciate your edit! YAM xx
