Seagate Archive 2

I will be posting a few old photos from the OLD Seagate. This one is from Manatee Historical Village.
It pleased me when I took the photo many years ago and still pleases me.
I also pleased myself by playing with it in PicMonkey.

  1. The way the sun is on it is so beautiful. And I do like the original photo the best!

  2. I agree with Ginny, that sun is just perfect and although I enjoy all your effects, I do like the original.

    You are right to be pleased with that shot - and being one who finds appeal in the abstract, I also appreciate your edit! YAM xx

  9. Hi Sandra :=)
    David is right, it is a great shot, and I have said it before, you do have an eye for making the ordinary, extraordinary. Your first photo of the sunlit chair and wall, highlights the beautiful colour of the wood and colour of the seat cushion, and makes it an inviting place to sit, so I prefer your first image.

  10. Fun twist!
    I can almost feel the warmth of that sunbeam on the warm wood. My DIL has a chair just like that; she probably picked up on one of her estate sale visits. Don't you love the arms?

  15. Love your creative spirit.
    I do like to go back into my archives and watch some of my old photos. I really like some of them and wish I did more photography. Seems I am becoming a bit lazy in my Old Age.
