Almost Wordless Wed.. (par fore the course!)

This is what greeted me as I stepped into Wal-Mart Saturday Morning. Seems they are now selling.

Electric Golf Carts....the price 1 penny under $8000.00 tax is 7 percent here in FL...  I provided the link in case any one or all of you want to go pick one up.  Make that drive one home?

I am at a loss fore words! As par as eye can see, this is a load of trap.

  1. Ha ha!! I expect I will be seeing them at our W.M. shortly. It is cute with the animals driving!

  4. They are popular in various Florida communities, I do not thing they are all electric. Some people would rather drive than walk. People here who have hundreds of acres have them to drive around their land. Take care, have a great day!

  5. My legs will still propel me and I hope that will continue for many years yet. Do you need a licence to drive those carts on public streets?

  9. HaHa...HaHa..
Thanks for my giggle this morning.
Wow that's quite a golf cart and to have WalMart selling it is really something.
    Love the puns too.

  10. It's cute!
... and if the price of gas keeps going up, I think more people would consider it. At least, unlike a motorcycle, it has a roof.

  11. I think that would be rather fun to drive around town in. Kind of crazy that Walmart is selling them.

  12. I'm still a little kid at heart. So I would love to have one of those, in good weather! Could I drive it on the four-lane road down to my supermarket?

  13. That would not be safe here, except for in the neighborhood. All other roads are way, way too busy.

  14. Hmmm- too rich for my taste and my pocketbook!

  15. Louis Dean and I were out walking in the neighborhood this afternoon and as we trudged along, out of a driveway zipped one of these! I DON'T THINK HE GETS ANY POINTS FOR 'EXERCISING!'
I actually wanted to buy one for the ranch so I could explore the back 50 acres. But I didn't.
It would be fun but I just can't spend that kind of $$$

  16. Considering the state you live in, Sandra, it didn’t seem too unusual to me that Walmart is hawking these carts. Is delivery offered or is it a pay and drive?

  18. Makes a cute photo but nope. There is a limiter so you can't go very fast in them, 17 miles an hour or something like that.

  19. Wow! I guess someone would be interested in that. Something like that would have worked out nice in the community my dad lived in.
