Ms Clean used Mr Clean

I found a new way to clean mirrors and glass. I bought this package of Magic Eraser, 9  of them during 2020 because they did not have them in Walmart. I still have 6 because they last forever.
I had pulled one out to clean a blueberry stain off the Kitchen counter and for some reason I decided to try cleaning the nose prints off the sliding door.
Wow! wet eraser, wipe it back and forth dry with clean micro cloth and Boom!
then I did the bathroom mirrors and BOOM
Since I put up the NOOK lights, I cleaned the entire mirror, all the glass shelves and all the glass
things that sit on the shelves with the eraser.

Thats a lot of WOW! Swipe and Wipe! Above top right is 7 AM, left is 8 am
bottom right is lights off at 9 am.. it looks good without the lights turn on too.

  4. I'm glad they work well for you. I bought a pack of the magic erasers a long time ago and they were awful. It seemed like they disintegrated to nothing after one use.

  5. I rarely use anything but micro-cloth and water. But I also don't have nook full of glass ornaments... ;)

  6. I am sure they will be sending you a cheque, or at least a lifelong supply of the product, after this ringing endorsement of the product. For glass I use vinegar and water and it seems to work well. As far as I know I don’t have nose prints to deal with!

  7. Hello,
I have been using the Mr Clean Erasers for awhile now. They work well.
I did notice Walmart did not have them and I had to buy them off of Amazon.

  8. Yet another helpful idea, Sandra, but I have never bought or tried the Magic Eraser product.

  9. I love the Magic Erasers, but I usually buy the generic ones from either Walmart or Dollar General. I haven't tried the original brand name ones. I do love them and use them A LOT. But I haven't tried them on glass doors/windows/mirrors. Now I will have to do that and see what develops. I mostly use one to keep my white kitchen sink stain free...tea stains, pot marks, etc., and also to wash stubborn spots on some pots and pans and the stove top. They are good to help keep grout clean around the sinks too. I love your beautiful glass shelves/displays. I know they bring a lot of joy to your day to see them there! Have a lovely day/week my friend. And I'm sure Mr. Clean appreciates your endorsement! LOL.

  12. You're doing so good! Well done. You're makin' me look bad with me sitting here watching old TV shows on YouTube. LOL
I tried using those Magic Wipes ages ago and didn't have much luck. I'll have to try them again. Thanks for the idea.

  15. Those Magic Erasers are my go to thing for every sink tea or coffee stain and actually just about every thing in the house.
I love that they last such a long time too.
I actually just used them on my white sketchers and white rubber flip flops. Fantastic.
Not so hot today, for which I am thankful. Only suppose to get to 99F.

  16. So glad I didn't get the Simple Green just yet! I'm going to try this on the dog's 'nose art' tomorrow.

How do you get yours to last so long? By the time I use mine on the bathroom, much of it starts flaking/falling off. One lasts just long enough for 1-1/2 bathrooms.
Maybe I'm putting too much elbow grease into it?

  17. I had no idea you could clean a mirror or glass. I've always used them on the wall. I have to try one on our sliding glass door.

  18. LOL..I had to giggle, because these sponges are addicting to me too...Once I start cleaning with them I can't stop. Now that I know they clean windows and mirrors, I'll have to put some time aside to get busy cleaning mine!

  19. I have those too - I had no idea that you could use on glass - I thought it would scratch it.

  20. Mom has never been very impressed with that eraser, but if they work on glass, she is definitely going to give that a go.

  22. We have a couple of those. Will have to try them out on mirrors. Wonder if they would work on Stainless steel? - Your nook is awesome by the way.
