We will be without power all day today, once again. The pine tree needs to come down, the one with the limb that fell and stuck, three people have stated they will not try to take the limb down because the tree is dangerous from rot. the ROTTEN thing is, we love the tree and it will cost 3500 to take it down.. and no where to go while they do it, also dealing with power company and they don't give a time, of course it is 8:15 and no trees people yet, got to run before they take my internet.
OY VEY! X 87 million.... SEE You when we can log back on, can we say frustrated
Oh poooh the electric company must be making major grid repairs.
ReplyDeleteI hope the temperature isn't too hot
Hugs Cecilia

ReplyDeleteI guess this is a safety first thing... Sending positive vibes... YAM xx
So sorry this happened again! It is frustrating and scary. Like the other commentor said, the power company is making major repairs to the grid. It has to be powered up a certain way or all the circuits will burn out. And the tree!! Oi vey is right! Hopefully it can be dealt with without shelling out that much money. For $3,500 we could clear our entire 6 1/2 acres here in Georgia and we have oodles of trees. It costs too much to live in Florida now.
ReplyDeleteSending prayers. Hope your power is back on soon.
Of course you must be sooooooooo frustrated. No power again. I am so sorry. And $3500 to cut down a tree that is already dying.
ReplyDeleteHang in there Sandra!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about your power and the issue with the tree. I hope someone can help you with it. BIG ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteHope all went as well as it could with the tree and that you did not have to be without power again "too" long...
ReplyDeleteGood Grief...will it never end. Hope the tree can come down without danger to anyone.
ReplyDeleteMy heart is with you dear friend.
Sue
Good grief, the money!! I hope it all goes well. And for that price, they should carry it all away!
ReplyDeletePure torture. No power again and having to pay to take the tree down. Hope they got there and got the job done quick.
ReplyDeleteHeat and noise and no power and nowhere to go. What a nightmare! In that kind of situation I would find it hard to hold on to my sanity. Fingers crossed the nightmare will be over soon.
ReplyDeleteThe cost to remove the tree seems excessive. Perhaps a little opportunistic gouging going on here? In any event, is it not covered by insurance? You have been through so much, you don’t need this.
ReplyDeleteWow, the tree removal cost is high, I think we paid that amount to take down tall trees. I hope all goes well with the power and the tree. Take care, have a great day!
ReplyDeleteBlogger is doing it to me again! I thought it was ..I checked this blog at least 4vtimes yesterday and this post did not show!
ReplyDeleteMaybe you can find a tree guy that will do a little at a time?
ReplyDeletehugs
Donna

ReplyDeleteso much money for cutting down a tree?unbelievable! hope the power is on soon! thinking of you
ReplyDeleteOh dear! I know how tree lopping can take a big chunk of money out of the purse, on top of the sadness at losing the tree. We had one taken down last year and the following year, gasped at the price they quoted for a simple trim in front of our house. Sorry for all you've gone through.
