Hope Springs Eternal

Above is part of our downed fence and sitting below it is

what was a pot of yellow moss roses. I called this post Hope because I saw the tiny yellow flower pop up and

Next to it in the mess we left there to keep the dog from breaking out through the hole one bright purple sign of HOPE, can you find the tiny purple flower of hope above?
As soon as we block the holes in the fence, we will get rid of the rest of the debris

The good news is that in our sub-tropical climate, everything will come back that was growing, and by this time next year there will be lots of purple flower.

HOPE
I stood looking at this ugly stump, in our Jungle Oasis

I thought what a mess, and off in the ditance is a stump from the distant past, and soon this ugly stump

Will look like this. In Flordia, all we have to do is wait and the jungle will take over and make ugly beautiful. Hope, to be continued tomorrow

UPDATE 4:47 am today FEEDLY IS NOT WORKING. IF I MISS YOU TODAY KNOW IT WAS NOT ON PURPOSE

  5. Still much to be done, but you your good humour did not get blown away by the storm, and that ‘s the most important thing of all. That one little flower is popping out and bringing good cheer.

  7. I think HOPE keeps us going in many areas of our life. I remember the green and growing when living in Florida. We had poinsettias that grew up all along the border of our fence. Amazing! xo Diana

  8. I see! I see!
Isn't it wonderful how even the tiniest, most insignificant-seeming things can give us hope. It's like they're saying, "Persevere!"

  9. I saw the purple flower! I am so happy that you are finding hope in this situation. All it takes (LOL) is a little patience and faith.

  10. I'm glad you saw that little flower. That is hope for sure. I did find the purple flower but it wasn't easy. The purple flower is beautiful and definitely hope for the future. It is definitely sad to see the mess but I love the hope that you see. Take care.

  16. Work your artistic wonder and put pots on the new stump like you had out the front. Cracked pots and moss roses.

  17. Or you could get someone to dril some largish diameter holes in the stump and push some baby ferns etc into it.

  18. It's so warm here in SE Georgia the flowers think it's Spring. Weird weather. The purple flower appears to be a Mexican Petunia. We have bunches of those growing along the south end of our home and down by the mailbox. They're really hardy. Hummingbirds love 'em. 😊
