Matthew 2:13-15 NKJV - The Flight into Egypt -
13 Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I bring you word; for Herod will seek the young Child to destroy Him.”
Today's photos were taken with my Samsung A14e Phone, I wanted you to see how each one i different, all take at the same time, all different in lighting and tones, taken before daybreak and with no lights but the nook, no edits done.
The fifth from the last shows the details of the statue better. What exactly did you change?
ReplyDeleteEspecially the last ones are very different. But it is pretty in any lighting!

ReplyDeleteThis shows how expressive photography can be! All have their merits and give different moods. If I were to pick just one, though, it would be the second. The frontal light exposure is sufficient to properly see the details of the faces, but just enough shadow to set the concern... YAM xx
It's beautiful in any light
ReplyDeleteI like that you have statutes for all parts of the story - not just the traditional nativity.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful, the Nativity is lovely and so is your nook.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteThey are all beautiful. My favorite is the second large image.
The nativity is pretty and I love the lights and tree. Take care, have a great day!
You are becoming so good at this you will be offering lessons soon. “Superior Shots from Sandra’s Studio” - I can see the neon sign flashing over your door now. Better not make it red though!
ReplyDeleteI haven't a favourite. Each one has something special and the focus and interest change with each exposure.
ReplyDeleteLove them all...a beautiful scene...
ReplyDeletehugs

It is so hard to pick a favourite amidst so many. But a lovely scene, and nicely decorated.
ReplyDeleteERin
I like them all.. need to see on computer to choose a favorite.
ReplyDeleteThe photos sound beautifully captured with such natural light! I love the serenity in your depiction of the Flight into Egypt. 😊 You’re invited to read my blog posts too—hope you enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteThey are all beautiful but I do prefer the one with the most lighting. The reflections are so cool. Understanding the lighting is so important to a photographer...one reason why I am not one. I don't quite understand all the lighting effects.
ReplyDeleteSandra this is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE photo in the nook
ReplyDeletethankyou
Hugs cecilia
You have a creative eye! 👁️
ReplyDeleteNicely decorated tree, but the Baby Jesus looks like a walnut.
ReplyDeleteI really like this statue. It's so interesting how different each photo looks.
ReplyDeleteI'm planning on getting a new iPhone next month! The camera on the phone is all I use anymore.
ReplyDeleteGosh Sandra - I can't tell a whole lot of difference - but they are all pretty.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful, beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing. Lovely bible quote. Yes, they do appear to be different. It is a lovely figurine.
