Procreat R&R Letter PHUN

I saw the murals above on Ginny's blog, Let You Light Shine and decided to try making one in Procreate.

I drew my letter, B for Beau, and copy catted a flower found in an online coloring book, colored and twined and this is my mural

The rest is part of  my R & R for Thursday morning after pulling my back, moving things to heavy to move, mopping floors.

and for Beau, a message to practice my scratch off writing, paint colors on a background, cover with black and write with an eraser.... PHUN PHUN PHUN

  1. Love them all. You have done way more in Procreate than I have lately. The colors in your scratch art are great. They look like Mardi Gras colors to me. Your flower in the B and your leaves in the S are all very good.

  4. They are terrific. I can see that when I need a logo I’ll just have to get in touch with you! Sorry to hear that your back is giving you issues. Hope it’s short-lived. David xo

  5. The art is pretty. I like it. Sorry your back hurts! Bless your heart. Sore backs seem to run in Steve's family. He & his sister have to go to a Chiropractor once a month for adjustments. So far, I've been blessed with a strong back. I just have weak shoulders after years of physical abuse (work). Our bodies can only take so much! Right!? Get well soon.
    Sending prayers. Love ya. 🌸

  9. Love it!
... especially the first image of the daffodil on a purple backdrop. You've captured all the feels of Spring without having to set foot in the garden!
I pray you're feeling some relief from the back pain this morning.

  12. I really like your art - So sorry about your back. In my younger days when I would strain my back or was sore after exercise; being told to stretch before. I guess stretching before moping the floors etc might help. I don’t know. My lower back kills me pulling wet towels out of my front load washer into the front loading dryer that is on top. We’re going to change that sometime this year.

  13. What a fun and creative way to spend your R&R! I love how you took inspiration from Ginny’s blog and turned it into your own personal mural in Procreate. The "B" for Beau looks fantastic, and it’s great that you combined the flower design with your own style to make something unique. It’s also great that you found a creative way to relax after all that hard work—especially after such an intense morning of moving things and mopping floors. The scratch-off writing technique sounds like a really cool way to add texture and mystery to your work—PHUN indeed!

I hope you are having a great weekend. You are invited to read my new post: https://www.melodyjacob.com/2025/03/the-breathtaking-adventures-we-had-in-glencoe.html. Thank you!

  14. Wow, this is genius! I would never have thought of enhancing these letters. There is no snapping art that you cannot do!! My favorites are the big one with the swirly purple background, and the next to last. What an awesome surprise!

  20. You really do amaze me with your artistic flair and talent! I love it! I can tell you have fun with it. I am sorry you hurt your back. I totally understand...am sitting here dreading getting up because I know it will hurt, but the longer I sit the worse it will be so I have to make myself get up and move around every few minutes or suffer the consequences. Gotta go change the clocks so we wake up tomorrow on time. I'm ready for bed now and it's only 6:30 normal time. Yikes...tomorrow is going to be rough. Gotta leave for Sunday School at 8 a.m. Daylight Savings time. Our bodies will think it is 7 a.m., and there's no fooling our bodies. We shall see how it goes. Hubby is the teacher...so we kind of have to go. LOL. Good night.
