The sound of rap music and car horns blowing, coming from the home where the Jazz band lives ( 2 men, 1 girl and a grandmother), had me rushing to my window on the world and with cell phone in hand, rushing out on the porch in my flannel gown.
Two men in their late 20's live in the house with their grandmother, the mens mother turned 50 and was gettin down with 6 unicorns. One unicorn waved a sign that said Honk for 50, another held a sign Happy 50th. No wonder cars were honking, I would have but was busy racing for the Nikon to get a better photo
I love it! We need more levity nowadays.
ReplyDeleteGranny's 50th I guess. Her family must really love her. I've never seen a birthday party like this!! Good thing you were home and alert!
ReplyDeleteyou live in a super neighborhood... and we bet now the miracles and good things start with the unicorns around...
ReplyDeleteOh, how Fun!!! Love all the photos and SO glad you got to be entertained! It's so good to see families that love each other...

Hello,
ReplyDeleteSo it was granny's 50th, looks like a fun celebration.
I have never seen the dancing unicorns, they are cute.
Take care, enjoy your day and have a happy week ahead.
What a fun way to celebrate a birthday. I have never had unicorn at my birthday parties. Not only was this fun for them but free entertainment for you as well.
ReplyDeleteThat must have been fun to photograph. You took great photos! Unicorns are really ‘in’ this year it seems.
ReplyDeleteAnd to think that my 50th birthday came and went like any other! Must be that Florida heat!

ReplyDeleteThat was so much fun - I love that!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun your neighbors were having! That sure brightened your day and lots of passersby day too, and now it brightened our day!

ReplyDeleteI linked this post to Awww Mondays.
Have a fabulous day and week, Sandra. Scritches to Beau. ♥
What a great idea! I love how momma bear's shaking her booty.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to decide if I'd have been flattered or simply humiliated. Since I'm turning half-again that age pretty soon, maybe I need to turn over a new leaf?
How fun and what great blog fodder. I do love the unicorns and everyone getting into the act. Glad you were home to record the Event!

We LOVE it! Though we are pawsitive that if Unicorns appeared dancing at our house our neighbors would just sigh and say - Another day at Marvelous Marv's! (Our human brother rides around the village on his one wheel dressed as T-Rex - People even stop on the highway to take pictures). Keep being awesome guyus and we LOVE that you shared with us! Marvelous marv, Kozmo, Jo Jo, Nutmeg and Mom Barb
ReplyDeleteThat is so darn cute. What a fun celebration they were having. I'm glad you got some photos.
ReplyDeleteWhat a happy party and a happy family!!! Good for them for getting in the party mood. Love the unicorns.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Misty and Timber
HA! They were quite appropriate for World Wildlife Day!
ReplyDeleteConsiderably more wholesome than a stripagram in the front yard.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like so much fun! Glad you were there to see it!
ReplyDeleteYou have entertaining neighbors!
ReplyDeleteI bet the unicorns mostly get calls for kids, not adults. That does look like a lot of fun if you can "get down and boogie" with them!
