Smile #3 came today

Beau and I are SMILING, Bob not so much, such as he is.
Yesterday I called Bobs Primary Care Dr. and left  a message. I said, Bob is getting worse, he is strugglin to get up at all, we just can't wait until August 20th. Is there something you can do?
I nearly keeled over when 2 hours later, and the girl said, Dr. R, says get a list of all Neurologist on your health plan, call them and see if you can find one that can see Bob sooner than his appt. If you find one, call me and we will get the referral there and cancel the other one.

Today I called the first number , because it is almost walking distance and has only one doctor and 3 PA's and left a message and 2 hours later another lady called and said Yes, our PA can see your husband on July 3rd, but we need a referral. I said it will be there soon and she said I will call you when I get it.

This is For Real, it Really happened. I called Primary, she said will get it sent right away. I told Bob and Beau and the two of us are smiling.

Today they are working and its 3 different young babies (men) and as they got closer to our blockade, I took Beau out and he said, Mam? we have to take this down, we need to put the posts where it is. I explained what they said yesterday and guess what? he said I have to take it down, but I will prop the boards they  put there on your tree and brace it, so the dog can't get out. He said it and he did it..
3 more angels, and these were all young tattoo guys, in fact one looks like a skinny Jelly Roll...
I say, I say Boy, these smile just keep on coming!
Anyone old enough to remember Foghorn Leghorn?

Smiles are contagious, Keep Smiling

  1. Hooray for all the smiles today!!! God is working overtime on your behalf!! And of course I"m old enough to remember Foghorn Leghorn. He's one of our favorites! Well, we loved all those old Looney Toons characters from back in the day when cartoons were actually funny. So happy for you today. Praying the new fence will soon be all done and all will be perfectly perfect in Beauland! Take some pictures of those "babies" working. LOL.

  11. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
I'm seriously amazed how the doctors' staff made things happen so quickly and pleasantly. (Lately, all I've seen and heard are roadblocks and unreturned calls.)
I'm giggling to visualize a skinny Jelly Roll!

  22. While I have not commented on all the previous posts, Sandra, I have been reading them and it has been wonderful to read about all these angels. You certainly deserve these helpful folks as does Bob. But, July does seem a way off and maybe an earlier date will happen. Thanks for the nice comment on my post about grandson’s HS graduation, much appreciated.

  26. MS it just floors me how long a wait there is for a specialist now a days. These medical folks need to put themselves in the shoes of patients in pain or need ...I can for sure say they would not want to wait. Thank goodness Bob has such a devoted and determined advocate a YOU.
    Many hugs and prayers

  28. I’m really glad you got that appointment moved up—it’s such a relief when things start falling into place. And Beau’s quick thinking shows how much love is all around. Those smiles really do go a long way. Keep holding onto that hope.
