UPDATE FROM YESTERDAY POST. I have not yet in my life seen a raven. Our resident Bird-Man, David G, of Travels with Birds said in comment, there are no crows in Florida. He said it was most likely an American Crow. I verified he is right, no crows here and found this info to share. Seems I will never see one since we don't travel. Thank you David.
from the charts, I think mine was a Really Big American Crow...

https://billjonesillustration.com/ I found the above cartoon by Bill Jones very funny and can relate to it because I don't like crowds and also a murder of crows does sound LOUD and I can see why the word murder was used. I made this in procreated, by painting 3 crows on a power line. I dabbed paint to make the bodies, and then 8 duplicates, hooked them together, and adjusted them to different sizes and a little different shapes with the warp tool. All this work to borrow a joke I saw on the joke page. |
The best thing about this is all your crows on the wires. I love them, they are so cool!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Ginny!

Better change your opening lines, Sandra. There are no RAVENS in Florida, but you do have American Crow and Fish Crow. Have a great weekend. Caw! Caw!

ReplyDeleteI love your crows on the line and the joke that goes with it!
ReplyDeleteThose are cute illustrations of those jokes. Our resident crows sure can get loud, especially when they are trying to chase a big hawk out of the yard.
ReplyDeleteMOL MOL You know Crows and I are at war...they need to find another tree from which to drop poop that is not over my skylights
ReplyDeleteHugs cecilia
How cute are these! Better than the real thing! Now I'm thinking you could make them into a comic strip and become syndicated.
ReplyDeleteThat joke about crows on the wires was GREAT!

ReplyDeleteI like your art. My subdivision is named after Ravens because they are everywhere. They are LOUD but smart and I enjoy them.

ReplyDeleteThe only place that I am sure that We saw ravens and not crows was in London a couple of years ago. There are resident ravens at the Tower of London. But in Nashua, NH, there are many loud and sometimes very large crows. Thanks for the fun art and jokes, Sandra.
ReplyDeleteDid you say M-U-R-D-E-RRRRR???? LOL! I always remember that old line from a black and white movie. Thought of it when I saw this. Excellent Sandra, gave me a good laugh. Happy Easter! Thank you for the message with the video and the lyrics.
