Beach Driftwood


I discovered I scream the same way whether I'm about to be devoured by a great white shark or if a piece of seaweed touches my foot.






Did you know that dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish?

    The driftwood is so interesting, I love to look at all the swirls and other shapes in the wood. You got some great shadows too.

    I just want to know how you know you would react the same. Are the Great Whites in town? LOL!

    The lighting and detail on these pictures is very attractive. I, too, love all the swirls and lines on the wood. I also enjoy the commentary, so delightfully off-beat.

    These photos are mesmerizing, I could look at them all day. I have studied these and the wood has such detail and texture. OH to be able to have some just to hold and touch.
    What made those holes in that one log?

    This is why I don't like the ocean--you never know what's going to touch your feet! My idea of a swimming "hole" is a clear pool that you can walk around and survey the bottom before diving in.

    LOVING this! I never see driftwood, at least I don't think! Your first shot is very similar to my header shot today!! My faves are the one right above the cool dolphin joke and the one with the holes in it!!

    Yes, I'm afraid I do too- most definitely! I love dolphins! What a pretty place and looks so secluded and peaceful. I think I mentioned we have mostly black sand here and lots of white on the West side of the island. Anyway I will check those lizards out shortly:)
