Labor Day USA- 2011

Labor Day in the USA has been around for over 100 years and is the first Monday in September and is a holiday to honor all workers. Most Americans think picnics and beaches.....

So leave your favorite beach shoes by the wayside and lets hit the beach and wiggle those toes in the sand. (above shoes I have had for 15 years and they are just like NEW)

Face the Grand Gulf of Mexico and breathe the air

Labor Day is a glorious holiday because your child will be going back to school the next day. It would have been called Independence Day, but that name was already taken. ~Bill Dodds
part of the renourshiment we think OR could be burial dunes LOL
In our town, Labor Day Holiday = Beaches and this quote fits perfectly

If all the cars in the United States were placed end to end, it would probably be Labor Day Weekend. ~Doug Larson

FOR THE REAL CELEBRATION TODAY, SING WITH ME NOW THE HAPPY BIRTHDAY SONG BECAUSE TODAY I AM 67 YEARS OLD....

  1. Happy birthday Madsnapper.
I love the flower. I've never seen one that color by the beach. Most of the ones I've seen are white with yellow centers.

My favourite uncle's birthday was the same as yours so I have a special fondness for people born on September 5th. ;)

  4. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SANDRA!!!!!!!!

You still wiggle your toes so this is a good thing! 67 years young, enjoy your life. I hope you celebrate the way you want to, and devour your day to the fullest. I LOVE the photo of shoes in the sand. Such contrast. Then 4th photo of the sand, sky is so vast, it calls to me. Be sure to tell us how your celebrated!!
