Lessons from my dollar store glass
We hear the question of the empty glass often and the standard answer is To the optimist, the glass is half full. To the pessimist, the glass is half empty
If the glass was full to the top and then you drank half of it it's half empty. If the glass was empty and then only filled half way it's half full. Holly
Why don't cats play poker in the jungle? Too many cheetahs
Did you hear about the cat who drank 5 bowls of water? He set a new lap
record
My Mirror Me...... LOL as you can see I am NOT Macro Material

I love how you caught the colours and reflections in the glass objects.
ReplyDeleteThe glass is pretty but you know we love the cat. The second shot with all the colors is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteGotta think about the half full, half empty for a bit.
Beautiful shots of the glass ware! I also like the shot of you in the mirror; very cool!
ReplyDeleteLove these shots. Glassware is a perfect subject to practice on.
ReplyDeleteI like the reflections! Great photo session is this with that extra lens?
ReplyDeleteI like your mirror shot!! they are fun to created when no one is around to take our picture.
you are so funny! love these shots, but especially the last one! :)
ReplyDeleteI love that picture of you! Yes you ARE macro material! I always wanted big pretty eyes like that. The only thing better would have been color. The glass has a cool reflection in the stem, that's the best part. And the rainbow in the cat. When I got up from a table last night, I pushed on the tabletop to rise up. Not realizing it was a pedestal table! The whole thing tilted, my new camera sliding off and onto the hard tile floor. Made a dreadful crack and the lens cap flew off. Thinking fast, Anne grabbed her ice-cream and saved it from the same fate. Unbelievably, it seems fine!!!
ReplyDeleteDid you get a new macro lens?? I like your self-portrait... I do that occasionally too, lol!
ReplyDeleteVery lovely clear shots! I love reflections in pictures too.
ReplyDeletePics of the glass ware are great. Mirror shot is cool. But I love your header photo best.
ReplyDeleteFun - I love the crystal cat :-)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you and the new camera are getting along very well!
ReplyDeleteYour glass ware photos are really beautiful . The reflection and the colors on the cat of glass are wonderful. The last photo I like the most. :-))
ReplyDeleteHahaha! The last one is my favourite. Using a mirror. lol
ReplyDeleteBut I think the humour and the glass pics deseve credit too. Great stuff!
I love the shot of you....you are too funny....love your jokes..
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of you and your nonaC camera!!

Bonnie

The glass is so pretty and so are your eyes! It's so great how you're enjoying your new toy and able to share it with us.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! When I first seen the picture of the glass all I could think of was look at how sparkly clean it is! lol
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are having all kinds of fun with that new camera. Is it a T2i? Love that last shot!
ReplyDeleteDelightful Sandra. I love how you captured the reflections in the glass. Great explanation of half full and half empty.
ReplyDeleteA macro of me would be just too scary. All my wrinkles would be just too close for comfort.
