Macro Manual 3

Lessons from my dollar store glass

We hear the question of the empty glass often and the standard answer is To the optimist, the glass is half full. To the pessimist, the glass is half empty

If the glass was full to the top and then you drank half of it it's half empty. If the glass was empty and then only filled half way it's half full. Holly

Why don't cats play poker in the jungle? Too many cheetahs
Did you hear about the cat who drank 5 bowls of water? He set a new lap
record
My Mirror Me...... LOL    as you can see I am NOT Macro Material

  1. I love how you caught the colours and reflections in the glass objects.

  2. The glass is pretty but you know we love the cat. The second shot with all the colors is gorgeous.

Gotta think about the half full, half empty for a bit.

  7. I love that picture of you! Yes you ARE macro material! I always wanted big pretty eyes like that. The only thing better would have been color. The glass has a cool reflection in the stem, that's the best part. And the rainbow in the cat. When I got up from a table last night, I pushed on the tabletop to rise up. Not realizing it was a pedestal table! The whole thing tilted, my new camera sliding off and onto the hard tile floor. Made a dreadful crack and the lens cap flew off. Thinking fast, Anne grabbed her ice-cream and saved it from the same fate. Unbelievably, it seems fine!!!

  21. Delightful Sandra. I love how you captured the reflections in the glass. Great explanation of half full and half empty.
A macro of me would be just too scary. All my wrinkles would be just too close for comfort.
