Now I am wondering the purpose of this, it certainly would not keep anything in or out. So then what is the point? Interesting. I love all the black eyed susans! Your downtown post is really quite a study on the effect of color!!!! The black and white looks a bit Victorian, maybe a bit New Orleans. But with color, it looks so clearly Spanish or Mexican!!! Two completely different effects.
I love the pics! That is a great new camera you have, my friend!
ReplyDeleteI like all those daisy-like flowers!
ReplyDeleteAttractive fence in a nice setting - great colors! And I love the name 'mad snapper' - makes me smile.
ReplyDeletenice contribution! :)

ReplyDeleteIt doesn't take much to line things up and fancy 'em up. I think this really adds to the whole effect.
ReplyDeleteI love the flowers...and the fence
ReplyDeleteI love this fence...it makes a statement...do not enter...without being over whelming....pretty flowers..yellow flowers are always my favorite..
ReplyDeleteThis fence is just a gentle reminder to enjoy the flowers but keep your big feet out of the beds. Great!
ReplyDeleteBTW, what is a "mad snapper"? Personality description? :-)
Appreciated the change in depth of field. Share what MadSnapper was experimenting with this time with her new camera.
ReplyDeleteOh Yes!! I like this one!
ReplyDeleteYou are doing a super job with your new camera, Sandra! Love the flowers and fence. Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteI never thought of chains and posts as a fence before, but after seeing your photos, I think I'm changing my mind!

ReplyDeleteThe fence is nice but I really like those pretty flowers. The flowers here are disappearing fast.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Ginny, the B/W photo in your post below does look like something you would see in New Orleans. But in color it doesn't look the same.
These flowers are growing all along the road side now I googled them and I guess the are black eyed susans. They are beautiful.
