  4. Hi sandra...so beautiful...so tender and with so much Faith. Love each word!
You are my best friend from that side of the ocean, did you know?
    Yes, you are!
Now i'm going to tell you, as i told Catherine earlier...how i'm going to do:
Here, in this region of Portugal , we are a little family too: me, my husband José, My little old dog Bonni, and my 3 years old Husky, Biscoito, (means “biscuit”! that is outside in/on? the cannel.)
I am going to make some cakes (chocolate, pie…and so on….)
Later we eat cod fish, boiled potatoes and cabbages…and boiled eggs…
We have a traditional cake: Cake King.
Then we go by the fireplace and watch TV
Perhaps AXN, or Fox, but ... I'll avoid series as Law and Order or CSI ... and look for a channel with a Christmas movie. Around midnight we go to bed ...Tomorrow we will wake up and see the gifts that are under the Christmas tree. After we pray and we thank the Lord for all the blessings he has given us.
I Cook octopus for lunch (a tradition), some people eat lamb or turkey. I have lots of sweets for dessert ... but I have to avoid it because I'm getting fat ... LOL

Later I'll post some pictues of my fireplace, Ok?
Have you seen my tree? and the "bouquet" of red roses my husband José has given to me??? I Think we are still inlove (and we are married for 24 years!Isn't that lovely?)

  13. Oh Sandra, Thanks for this one... "Take a Walk through Bethlehem" is one of my favorite Christmas songs... We have it on our iTunes --and I play it over and over... It is truly a favorite of mine...

A few years ago, George and I made Christmas CD's to give to the family/friends for Christmas. Each year, we looked for some good new songs that year... When I heard "Take a Walk through Bethlehem" I had to add it to our collection...

Thanks so much for sharing... Love it!!!
    Hugs,
    Betsy
