Vertigo - Guessing Game

Can you guess the name of this movie?  Keep scrolling to find the answer.

Trivia on the movie, of the 15 cast members, all are deceased except the bride groom.

Did you guess Rear Window by Alfred Hitchcock? Starring Grace Kelly, Jimmy Stewart and  Made in 1954, I saw it then at age 10 at the drive in movie.

Stewart is a photographer in a body cast and home alone all day.

As I  watched him watching all his neighbors with his Nikon Long Lens for close up viewing, I jumped up staggered over to  my Rebel and since it had the long lens on it, i sat on the sofa and zoomed in and snapped these JUST FOR YOU.

To bad they were not running the other Hitchcock film Jimmy was in named Vertigo.... the thing is if were in a wheel chair with nothing to do all day and a camera I would have done the same thing he did. Which was Watch all the life  stories in the windows. But I would have been MADLYSnapping!

  5. I've never seen this one, and I knew that Hitchcock made one called Vertigo, so I guessed it was that. I need to see both of them I guess. Nice job of shooting the screen on these. Hope you're doing better.

  8. I guessed 'Rear Window', not immediately but, I did guess it. ,-)

You have a masterful zoom lens there, my Dear! Plus, it captures right-as-it's-happening. Meaning, my camera does not do well, with movement.

You click yours, and you get the "screen save", which you saw, as you clicked. Not here. Enjoy.

How are you coming along, Hon???

Oh and yes, I remember 'Vertigo.' Eeeeeeeek!!!!!!!!!!!!! ,-)

  11. I knew it, but you threw us a curve with Vertigo in your title. I was thinking, "this isn't Vertigo, wrong actor". lol
Hope you are back to normal soon.

  12. I guessed correctly! Be careful in your staggering. Hope you get over this inner ear problem soon! I'm beginning to have some flare ups myself and the timing couldn't be worse with vacation coming up.

  14. Back in the mid 50's I saw only cowboy style movies on a Saturday afternoon if my dad felt like letting my brother and I have nickel each!
But yea I would love to be more of a snapper. Lately I snap a lot with my words. I'm in a bit of a lull in my relationship with a dear one(:

  20. I loved the movie Vertigo. In fact I just watched it again last week. My one problem with it is that I was never Kim Novack fan and still not. Wish they had casted somebody else. But still it's good. Anything by Hitchcock is a hit with me.

  22. That was easy, I love that movie. I'm a Hitchcock fan from long ago. I think Stewart was also the star of another favorite of mine, The Man Who Knew Too Much.

Hope your Vertigo is gone by now.

  23. I'm not sure if I've seen any of those movies. I do love Jimmy Stewart and I love the old movies. They just don't hardly ever show them on tv anymore. I love anything with Doris Day in it too!

  24. I recognized the movie as Rear Window from the first shot! I've seen it on TV a few times. Well I think it's a good sign that at least you're snapping shots of the TV screen.

  25. I enjoy some Hitchcock movies. North by North West would be one that would definitely give me vertigo by just watching! Rear Window is a good one. Hope you're slowly recovering, Sandra.
