Almost wordless Wedesday

As I clicked my seat belt shut, I saw a bird land on the roof of the car next to me. I eased the electric window down and aimed the zoom lens and this is what I got through the passenger window. Have no clue what he/she is.

UPDATE from TexWisGirl... it is a mocking bird and she sent me this link to another blog with more MOCKINGBIRDS

  7. Really nice capture. Looks like a Mockingbird to me. If you heard it sing you would know. They run through every song they know in one sitting. Delightful birds.
    He/She certainly was a ham.

  12. Your editing in the last photo is cool. I am either to slow or noisy or perhaps my camera has to long of a delay because I have the hard time getting a photo of birds. I know I can always come to your blog anytime to enjoy your photo's of them. :)

  19. Yes, it is a mockingbird indeed. I was attacked by one going into a mall several years ago. She had a nest over the entrance and was attacking everyone who entered.
