Behind Engine 75

We chose to walk up to the engine and watch them feed the coal in... As you can see, not many made that choice. The boy in the center is Brandon, and his mom is to the right in the jeans. She is my friend Rene and is the lifeguard at the YMCA..


Did I mention the NOISE? woooo woooo and chug chug chug and bumpa lumpa bumpa lumpa woo woo woo'


Yes, we did get a little sooty, but it was worth it. These photos were taken in Feb 2010

  10. YES! I remember this one!!! My favorite steam shot is in the other post, and my favorite one here is the last one looking down that long thin roof. It looks like it goes on for miles. And the weird thing is, the underside is not black from smoke!!! Either that or they clean it every day...
