ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!
Very nice. What a treat. Love looking at trains.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend! :)
Grand photos, Sandra. My parents, John and I rode a train once in Dillsboro NC and I remember the smells more than anything!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of those old steam engines!!! When he was a boy, my dad gleaned the tracks that crossed the farm of left over coal. (When the fireman added coal to the boiler some usually fell off the train and onto the track) My grandparents used to coal to heat their house.
ReplyDeleteThese are excellent shots. Love the first two. So glad you joined in this week. Everyone loves a trains.
ReplyDeleteQMM

ReplyDeletebut nothing beats being right there. -smile- Glad you could be.
Oh, Sandra~ these are great! My hubby loves those old steam engines. I'll have to show these pictures to him.
ReplyDeleteVery nice, I love the old steam engines.
ReplyDeleteThese are cool shots...I love the shot of the steam around the wheels! When I see trains, even the modern ones, it always reminds me of my granddad. He worked for the railroad switching the tracks. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteThank you for asking me (in comments) to show more pics of old houses, in my city.
ReplyDeleteNeedless to say, I have a *million* of 'em, to choose from. :-)
Not all the BIG ones, either.
I think maybe showing the BIG houses, gets kind of... Not fun. Sure they are beautiful, but regular people do NOT live in such.
I will continue to snap pics of cute/interesting houses/homes. Ones in which regular people can live, too. :-)
Thank you for the request.
These are awesome photos! I would like to ride on a real train one day. The one at Disney doesn't count. LOL Have a great weekend!

For me, you have lined these up so they get better and better as you scroll down. I love the red shirted train workers and thought they would be my favorite, but oh my, the next ones!!! The last one is AMAZING, and I cant say that enough. The steam and the light!!! The steam blowing through the light...
