Cinco Da Mayo


I had no idea today was Cinco Da Mayo day, until I visited a couple of blogs, that jogged my memory of the celebration in 08 at the rehab facility..

Drat! another Two Post Day...

  7. Love, love, love all those vivid colors and swirling costumes.
    Our church when we lived just outside of San Francisco, was located in a very Latin populated area. Absolutely to die for food and beautiful people.
    Cinco de Mayo and Carnivale were always celebrated in royal fashion there.
    Thanks for bringing back some good memories for me.

    I thought about it on Sunday but I was at the shelter. I just wished all the cats and dogs a happy 5th of May as we continued our clean up.

    That looks like a fun celebration!

  20. One of my favorite memories is when we saw the Ballet Folklorico in Mexico City. The color and the dancing are just spectacular. These beautiful photos brought back that great time. Love all the cheery colors!
