Sunshine and Silk


Each morning the sun pours in the kitchen window illuminating my silk flowers on the kitchen table.  Sun can make even fake flowers beautiful.



Meanwhile, out in the yard today, there were 48 more blooms on the Night blooming cactus, the below photo if of one that bloomed yesterday and one that will bloom tonight.

  9. Your silk flowers look REAL. When I looked, I wondered who had given you the flowers! I love the last shot with the combination of the cactusy stem then the spreading flower on the end!

    You could have fooled us we thought the flowers were real. MOL Mom loves that vase too.
    Mom and I think maybe you should hire someone w a great big honking camera to come in to get a pic of that gorgeous night blooming cactus. Of course you may have to pass a collection plate firs.

    48 more blooms?!! wow!!! that is just amazing!! I would imagine one of those photos of the blooms would be so pretty blown up to poster size. I should have taken pictures of the photos at the hospital today, I didn't even think about it until now.
    maybe I will remember to next time.

    Even before it blooms the night blooming cactus is awesome.
