I love the fern! The frog quote kinda reminds me of something John and I tease about....Harriet has a hairy chin and her belly drags the ground and yet we think she is cute; the same is not cute on me!!!!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteBeautifully captured beauty!!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
Last year, it was very odd for us to see Hibiscus blooming. They are beautiful and at the same time a bit fragile. Golden Thanks for sharing and capturing their beauty. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! And I think there are some things, maybe not toads, that are universally considered beautiful. Who could look at a bouquet of hibiscus or Stargazer lilies or wildflowers and not think them beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLovely capture of the flower and thought stiring post on beauty.

ReplyDeletelove your photos! the voltaire quote reminds me of the twilight zone episode in the eye of the beholder. to the pig-faced people, the beautiful woman was ugly. beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder.
ReplyDeletewags, bailey unleashed
You know you are right - beauty is in the eye of the beholder. A frog would think that another frog would be cute - where someone else wouldn't. I love the flowers in the first two pictures!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures do a great job of showing beauty.
ReplyDeleteI love the Voltaire quote!
ReplyDeleteI think flowers are beautiful in all stages as your photos show. The first one is my favorite but as much for the background as the flower.
Your photos have captured beauty and are in fact beautiful themselves.
