Mastiff and Chihuahua

Gotcha! did you think you would see a Chistiff or a Mashuahua? Meet Duncan, 6 month old Mastiff and Chloe the Chihuahua. Therapy dogs at Heritage Rehab. Chloe was dressed as Dolly Parton, and not happy about it.

I fell in love with Duncan and those sad sad eyes. He was dressed in his therapy costume.. I will try in 6 months to get him at his weight of 150... woo hooo

The above sad sack face is just like mine... I HATE THIS TIME CHANGE... OH yes I DO....our internal clocks woke us up at 3 am on Sunday..

  2. I'd just like to stay on standard time year around. Oliver still sleeps until we drag him out of bed but, yesterday, he started staring at us (meaning give me dinner) at 4:30 p.m.!!

    Love the pups!

    Best,
    Bonnie

  6. CHOLE WAS MIFFED BECAUSE HER OWNER FORGOT TO MAKE HER BOOBIES MATCH HER BIG HAIR.

    DUNCAN IS GORGEOUS...

MADI WOKE US UP AT 5:15 YESTERDAY LITERALLY YOWLING...I THOUGHT SHE WAS HURT...IT WAS HER TUMMY'S CLOCK WHICH SAID IT WAS 6:15.

  7. One reason I love Arizona so much? They don't do Daylight Saving Time! I don't know anybody who likes it. Why don't we get it changed and quit this spring forward/fall back nonsense!

  13. I love them both ,ha ha.
The remind me a bit of the faces that Gabby our Toy Russian Terrier and Cricket our Boxer make . How can anyone now love dogs to pieces. Bet they are the greatest therapy !

  18. I LOVE Duncan. It would be fun to cheer him up. :)

Ah, I don't blame Chloe for wanting to shed her outfit.

  19. Those sad eyes...they get me every time. What a pair of sweeties!

I don't like this time either, why don't they just leave it one way or the other?

  24. Oh, what a sweet and lovely face. I woke up at three too and now I have to get up early again to walk Samson before the sun comes over the mountains. It was great to get a break from that routine for a while. Plus he bugs me for his food an hour ahead of time and I feed him three times a day......

  25. Can't say that I blame the chihuahua for not being happy about that, but she does look good. Always fun to visit your blog and see you're up to your same old tricks. OBTW, I've started posting on a limited basis again.

  28. A bit ago I said to PH, "Do you realize it's just a bit after 6pm and I feel I should be getting ready for bed? Yep, "FALL BACK" has be upsidedown too! I wish they would just leave us alone in our normal time. I still cannot figure out why this has to be done.

  29. Duncan definitely has sad eyes. I agree with you about the time change. It makes me sad as well.

  30. Oh, those big sad eyes would melt the coldest heart. Duncan is adorable. So is Chloe with her curly hair!

Now that we are back on Standard time why can't we stay here. DST was suppose to save energy and money but the savings is so low it really doesn't make a difference. It makes no sense to keep on torturing us this way.

  31. Yeah, I love Duncan. He could easily be my pal. :-) Chloe, not so much. I am so glad that there is such a thing as a therapy dog.

I HATE the change from DST to CST to DST and back again, twice a year. Hate it. My watch is still on DST and will be until my dogs are ready to switch over to regular time. Why do we do this?? Can't we just have DST year round?? I also don't like darkness hitting at 4:30 PM, as it will in about a month.

  32. I hate the time change also. It messes with me for several days!!!!! Since we are on the eastern edge of Central Time, we get DARK at 5 pm now... Gads!!!!

Love Duncan and his sad eyes.
    Hugs,
    Betsy
