We were married at the courthouse and this is the only wedding photo we have, a snap shot taken by my cousin.
No engagement ring, No big wedding, No photos, no honeymoon, no money other than our two paychecks.
YET IT WORKED FOR 29 YEARS..

ReplyDeleteCongratulations! :) I have been married three times..you may not know that..the first time for 43 years..and in all those three times.. there it was exactly like yours. No photo's..nothing..no ring the second time..Yuma..Las Vegas and City Hall...that was it. I don't think I missed a single thing..I don't think you did either. All three marriages were successful and happy. You are beautiful people! Thanks for sharing those pictures.

ReplyDeleteYou two looked happy then and even happier now.
We skipped all the fancy stuff too. Took a two day trip to Reno, got married and a quick honeymoon. Got snowed in on the way back to CA and got an extra day on our honeymoon. Best wedding ever. We will celebrate 20 years in November.
