Mail Boxes and Flowers... Oh My

If I were flying in a helicopter with a Seal Team, and if I rappelled down into the middle of Point Pleasant...

I could tell it was Florida.....

because of the flowers and trees....

And as I showed the Navy Seal Team these mail boxes, I could say

Only in Florida will you find flip flops and fish on mail boxes.

But after writing this, if I had rappeled down with the Seal Team, I doubt I would be looking at the mail boxes...I mean Really? Mail Boxes?

Do you think I read to much? Can you tell I love action movies and action books?
Do you even know what a seal team is????

JUST SO YOU KNOW... I chose the team that had a Canine Unit.

  1. As I've watched the action movies too, I do know what the navy seals are. Those mail boxes are brilliant, are they on the street and do they lock?
Over here if they were on the street like that I'm sure half the mail would be (borrowed..,.,) lol. Ours gets put straight into the letter box.

  2. Yeah. I've only been to Florida once. It's a beautiful state. And my skin became baby soft. :)

  3. I think mail boxes are quite interesting, Sandra, so my Seal Team would indeed be searching them out. ;)

  7. We have a boring dark green mailbox that is on our front porch--not many neighborhoods that get mailed delivered right to the door these days. If you landed with your seal team at my house, you'd end up in all the snow that is still around--and be very cold!!

    Best,
    Bonnie

  14. Those are some fun looking mailboxes! They would be a little bit weird here, but they seem just right for Florida!
I do know about the Seals and love reading books that feature them, I'm thinking of one author in particular that I like to read, but can't seem to recall her name at the moment.

  19. I would choose the seal team with the canine unit too, but I didn't know that seals and dogs got along so well. ;-)

Love the hibiscus photos! sigh. I long to see hibiscus blooming here.

and oddly enough, I hardly ever watch action adventure stuff. But I really do know what Navy Seals are.

  25. I love all those cool mailboxes especially the ones with the flip flops. And yes, I know all about Seal teams. Want to meet some?

Careful what you wish for. When my hubs was a young teen he went down to Coronado CA to spend the summer with his brother a Navy Seal. They lived in a house off base with other Seal team members. Sometimes when my hubs would return to the house late he would get a real surprise when a Seal would very quietly drop out of a tree right in front of him or maybe sneak up behind him. It would scare the bejeezus out of him.

  26. Hey...those Navy Seals can be real hunks. And you could talk to them for hours. I bet they would even pose for a few pictures if you asked nicely.

    See ya,
    Sue

  29. I would like to see you rappelling from a helicopter. I nearly said if you dropped into Brisbane you would see the same flowers and trees but then the letter boxes, I mean mail boxes in your language are very different.
