Random Rambling -Designer ToastD

Designer Toast by Bob

Take one impatient Hubby + toaster oven that takes 2 minutes to make toast.
Add bread held with tongs held over red glowing range element = TOAST with designs...
Let me know if you try it and please use tongs with rubber handles.. OUCH

Beware of Long Lines..you may find out things you do not want to know..

Last week while standing in line at the Cashier, perusing the front covers of the magazines, I suddenly realized how Old I AM...

I did not recognize a single face on any of the dozen magazines. I wanted to list all the stars I might recognize but I can't remember their names...

Beware of PicMonkeyITIS.....Beware of BloggingITIS....Beware of MouseITIS

all three of these can and will cause your wrist to throb and your thumb to feel like someone tried to rip it off your hand.

Lucky ME...on our last trip to the flea market I saw these nifty items for a dollar each and bought 2 of them... they make my wrist feel good and the big PLUS is...

PHOTO OP...Blog MATERIAL.... have you ever tried to use your left hand only to take a photo of your right one? IT WAS HARD,.. just Call me Vanna Hanna the MadSnapper.

  2. Feeling around my wrist quite randomly the other day I found a part that was quite hard, oooo I thought, what it that? and realised it is where I rest the side of my hand on the desk when using the mouse. The dangers of blogging, lol
As for getting old and not knowing the celebs, who cares...most of them are empty vessels and we are full to the brim with acquired wisdom Sandra.lol

  3. I think I have arthritis in my right hand from holding a mouse so much. I should try to find one of those wrist things and see if it would help.
I recognize very few of the names of celebrities, either. Does that mean I'm old? Yes, I guess it does. When did that happen? :)

  4. I spent so much time looking at that piece of toast and trying to figure out the image on it (and wondering how much you could get for it on Ebay) that I don't have time to finish reading the rest of the post!!

    Best,

  5. Glad the wrist support is helping! At works, two weeks ago, I mentioned a Beatles song and then later recounted something about Steve McQueen...the younger women who work with me had no idea what I was talking about.THAT reminded me how OLD I am!! :-)

  6. Lately, my left thumb has been giving me some discomfort, and it's not even the hand I use for the mouse, when I do use it. Lately, I have been avoiding it when using the laptop. The support things look like a real bargain; let us know if they worked well for you, Sandra.

  8. Those supports you're showing should help I hope. I know a lot of repetitive movements can cause trouble after a long time.

  11. Tell honey I'll pass on the tongs...I am very patient and you need to lay off the computer for long periods of time. Those wrist supports do wonders if pain keeps you awake at night too!...:)JP

  13. We've never had much luck with toasters. Maybe I should try your hubby's method. I don't know any of the current celebs either. Does that make me old or wise? I think it makes me wise. You too. Cool device for your aching hand.

  14. I said the same thing the other day, I don't recognize any of the new stars. Hope the support works. I will be looking around for one of those myself soon.

  18. Sorry about your painful hand. Mine gets more like numb. Which is no good once you try to type with it. I so understand about the toaster oven. I never have toast since our real toaster broke. No patience for waiting for the darn thing to get brown. It's like I remember me in the sun, back in the day, when sun tanning was OK. Took too long.

  19. You should get a RollerMouse like I have, it's a wrist-rest with built-in mouse in the middle. (You can find it on Amazon, I just checked.)

  20. Forgot to say... With the toast picture, my first impression was that he'd toasted it together with a key!!!

  21. Ha! I never thought about how you took that photo of your hand. I had to do that when making my own tutorial. The downside of not having kids around to help with the camera. As far as the mags go. I don't think
you are missing much. I am seriously going to try that with the toast!

  22. interesting way to make toast. I don't think I'll try it myself though...lol
I have a wrist brace that I wear occasionally but mine is boring and ugly. I like the one you have

  23. I remember making toast that way, when the toaster didn't work.A little complicated but it works.

  24. You are as nutty as a fruit cake love having a giggle at your posts. Picmonkey told me I couldn't use their program any more because my Safari 5 browser was vintage

  25. LOL on the toast and tongs!
I like your wrist/hand support, it looks comfortable. I have a wrist band that I wear sometimes.

Let me see if I can make you feel really old (I know it did it for me). They are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Beatles arriving in the US. I feel ancient after seeing that.
