I left these items sitting on the counter overnight. I use CLUES to make myself remember things I want to do for just in case I forget to look at my list of To- Do Today. Guess what 4 things it was to remind me to do. Answers below....SCROLL Baby Scroll (POO) Perfectly Ordinary Objects
Peel and cook the apples for Bob. Cook Rice Pasta for Beau and Mama, Make Mama's Granola, Cornbread baked and put in freezer. ALL for the coming week.
I SAW, I SNAPPPED! it looks like the glass cracked and is leaking liquid glass. What do you see?
I found this homemade business card, in a snack bag, with a small rock.
Tree Service Advertising. Cheap !! Glad it did not hit the window.
Received the above in my email, stating Bob's Calamine Lotion, 2 bottles for 5 dollars, was delivered by Walmart. No, I did not order just that, I twas part of this order, total cost $159.00
Default delivery on my orders say, leave in baskets under white bench on porch.
the white bench was moved, 4 months ago for the wheel chair bench, and the baskets stored under the bench, when I order I pull them out and sit in front of the wall. This time I forgot to move the basket,
The girl piled all the groceries in one spot. There is a 25 dollar ham, a pie, bread, eggs, a lot of things.
I watched the young man, slide the basket out, gently place the package in and slide it back... which one do you think got 5 stars?
No, I did not give her a bad star, I just did not answer the email request. These people are saving my life driving my shopping items to me.
I am thankful for them, no matter where they place them.
| Just because I had the app open I Instat toned his email photo. |

I love your gorgeous edit in the last photo!! I have never had any groceries delivered, but I imagine it would be a lifesaver. I always think they will not give me the freshest produce and meat.
ReplyDeletemy mom has the garage as the spot for the post guys... to make sure the parcels are safe, she locked the door... well yes... senior moments we had a good laugh ;O))
ReplyDeleteHello
ReplyDeleteThe it is great to have your groceries delivered. We do not need it right now but I am sure we will be using it in the future.
I put out reminders or I have alarms on my phone going off at different time for reminders. Take care, enjoy your day!

ReplyDeleteI love home-delivery and when am back at the Hutch, use it all the time for my groceries... mainly because I live up one flight of very steep and high stairs. As you say, it is a valuable service and I am truly grateful we have it!
I love the photo of the glass jar and the trick of the light that also initially had me thinking water had spilt! YAM xx
I've only used home delivery once and it was convenient because of the weather. It's amazing how some delivery people go the extra mile while others just do the bare minimum.
ReplyDeleteI have never had groceries delivered, but I am happy to hear that the young fellow dragged out the basket to deposit his consignment. Common sense and courtesy are both all too often in short supply.
ReplyDeleteWe have proof of delivery emails, too, but all too often the goods have been delivered to the wrong address - not the groceries, they always come to the right house!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great POO selection this week. That glass jar is amazing.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for Walmart delivery!
I haven't had groceries delivered to my home, but I can see that it would be so helpful!
ReplyDeleteI love the bottle edit - it really does look like cracked glass.
That leaky glass photo is super cool. We haven't used grocery delivery services yet but we've been talking about it. Big hugs from all of us.
ReplyDeleteThe leaky glass was kind of pretty.
ReplyDeleteYes, having the groceries delivered is a Godsend. I am glad she did a great job.
I've started doing the same thing. I'll leave out non perishables on the counter to remind myself of what I need to do. Today was pecans for a pie. I'll make it this morning and Brenda will pick it up this afternoon along with a large crock pot for her Thanksgiving ham. The last two years we have gone to her house for Thanksgiving but this time we are going to Jesse's and I am so excited!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you and your boys!
Sandra you mind's eye sees ordinary things in the most incredible way. Thank you for sharing
ReplyDeleteThis time of year I do things each day to make T'giving prep quick.
Hugs Cecilia
I'm grinning ear-to-ear on account I did the same thing last night -- putting ordinary objects out where I won't forget them before the chaos ensues.
ReplyDeleteOnly once did I leave my WM rating less than a "5", because the kid loaded the pie upside down. Never mind it wasn't so pretty .... still edible. Imagine my surprise when someone responded to say they were going to credit that purchase. Sure hope he didn't get in trouble!
You have a wonderful way to remember things.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and week. Love, prayers and hugs all around. ♥
You have a talent for finding the story in everyday life, your snapshots and little observations make ordinary moments feel vivid and full of personality.
ReplyDeleteThat was sweet of the young man. Glad you could give him extra credit. Love the picture of the glass. 😊❤️
ReplyDeleteI really like that shot of the glass and the "water". Such a great observation.
ReplyDeleteI am so thankful you can have your groceries delivered. What a God send for you. I've only done that 2 times. Was satisfied but I know that the day will come when we need it all the time.
Usually Amazon is pretty good in their deliveries and putting them in a safe place.
(((hugs))) to you 3
Sue
You did a wonderful job on your POO grouping . I find it so strange how we are all so different...I bet that young man's mother has taught him a few things in life. He would be a keeper. Happy Thanksgiving Sandra to you Bob and Beau.. Hope Beau is a little more active today.
ReplyDeleteThat glass jar does look like it's leaking liquid glass. I love how you stylized that last picture.
ReplyDeleteI love that you can have this stuff delivered to your home. That's very cool. I do that sometimes too, just don't answer the email. Loved your art! Keep up the great work, Wonder Woman!
ReplyDeleteI leave things out to remind me, also. The leaky glass picture made me smile.
