LIFE Snaps of MadSnapper Caregiver

Oh look, the aloe is blooming.

Wander about at 3:30 AM in backyard with Beau, taking not so great Moon shots. the good news was, no flashlight or floodlights needed, the yard was lit up enough to see where we walked.

Make a calendar the cheap way. Printed out 12 months of 2026 from a free site for school teachers and taped them on the old calendar from last year... Pam,Ginny, if you want want for you Collection let me know and I will send you the LINK. 😁😁

It's only there to write reminders on and then forget I wrote them there
Take a shot of the Ensure that a friend who had 22 bottles given to her gave me to see if Bob likes it. Its way to expensive to toss away if he doesn't, yay, He does.

but wait, wake up, there is still MORE....

Sit on Sofa with the TV so loud I can't hear the clicking of the keys tapping, browsing old posts because I am to tired to do anything else.
I found this from 2010 which means I have been taking photos of odd things in the house for many years and am trying to blame my lack of photos to show you on
my being a caregiver for 10 months.
The watches are now dead and gone,

Don't Ask

I am sorry, I have No One but You to Talk to......and nothing to talk about

We can join Rosy for Nature Friday, because of the moon and the Aloe. We use Aloe for burns, and itches and that plant has been here since 1989..

Aloe looking good even in a drought! What a great idea for a cheap and quick calendar! You could even print them out smaller for one to keep in your purse.

Being a full time caregiver is the most noble, most loving and yet the most exhausting job in the world. I have enjoyed this post very much. I am having a sleepless night myself.

You took wonderful pictures of the sky, Sandra. It really looks dramatic. Thanks for sharing with us.

I like your early morning pics. Hooray for the aloe blooming. Those watches are cool. Glad to hear Bob likes the Ensure. That stuff is expensive.

You people sure are nightowls...even your commenters were commenting at all hours of the night! I thought I was early at 6:48 a.m.! LOL. But, I could've joined you on your walk early this morning! At 2:30 I finally couldn't stand it anymore and went and picked up Blackie and brought him inside and put him in the tent. He never made a sound. I will write about what happened next in my next post... Oh, I have a drawer full of old watches too. It's cheaper to buy new ones nowadays than to buy new batteries or repair ones that break. I hope my aloe is still alive. It's on the back porch and it's 29 degrees right now. Mine has never bloomed, however. Maybe I should plant it in the ground. I loved this post, and I am barely awake right now...bye for now.

Oh, and thanks for the calendar! LOL. I will be "buying" all my calendars from you from now on! LOL.

Hello,
Beautiful captures of the moon! Great idea for the new calendar, we get free calendars in the mail, from various charities. I am glad Bob likes the Ensure drink. The aloe plant looks great, I did not know they have blooms. I assume they do not need much water to grow. Take care, enjoy your day and happy weekend.

Nothing like being awake in the middle of the night and thinking about the muddle of life! John refused to drink Ensure when he was recovering from cancer and so we had this whole EXPENSIVE set up that cost way too much and lasted for over a year and required a feeding tube. Not a good year-It is 10 years -March 7-2016 marks last day of cancer treatment for him. It's a crazy world. xo Diana

I did something similar with a calendar in my study: I took the dates-sheets from a free 2026 calendar and combined with a calendar from last year which had pictures I liked better...

The blooming aloe Vera shows growth and renewal. I love those early morning shots. I'm never out at that time, so it's a treat to see the clouds in the sky. Okay, I won't ask about all the watches on your wrist. Always a pleasure!

Love your mid-night romp in your yard. Beautiful moon.
We had very dense fog this morning which cleared by 7:30am
I'm sure glad I don't have to commute in the fog.
I didn't know that Aloe bloomed. Glad it is thriving.
Great post

the calendar idea is perfect, esp. for teachers. Your early sprouting are so encouraging. Just about the time I have decided that the plants are dead, then suddenly there are some appearing.

What r u talking about, Willis? (*grin*) .... not having anything to talk about. That's crazy, all you can see by that moonlight. I'm probably too much a chicken to be outside at that hour. Yep, I still believe in the boogie man -- and coyotes.
Yep, those little bottles of Ensure are pricey. I bought a 6-pack for Tom a few years ago, but he hated them. Thankfully, one of the elderly ladies at church appreciated getting them.
Do you have MS Word on your computer? That's what I've been using for monthly calendars here and I can customize the layout and colors, etc. Wish I could afford some like what Pam has, but I'd be afraid to write on them b/c my handwriting stinks!

Those are cool pictures of the night sky. You sure had a lot of watches. I only use my phone these days for a clock.
