I was sick, 2 nights in a row.. I threw up twice and paced 4 hours from, 9 pm to 1:30 am Tuesday and Wednesday had diarrhea with poo and rivulets of blood in it from 3:15 am to 9 am. I get really sick and Mama spends hours with me, holding, petting, hugging and following around the yard in the dark with 38 degrees. She wraps up like a mummy. It was so cold my ears were cold, and she wrapped my head in a baby blanket.
Wed. Morning daddy fell, walking back to bed from breakfast with walker. PT came that day and cleared him, nothing broken.
Mama went to her doctor Monday for 30 day check up on her new wonder drug, Lexapro and was changed from Lexapro to Zoloft because of one side effect. its been CRAZY-er because Mama took one Zoloft and fell back to where she was before all this started. She could not sleep, was wired, like on steroids, anxious, she yelled at daddy and me, she was angry. She did not take a 2nd pill.
She called the doctor next day and said she stopped the Zoloft, and the doc sent a new prescription of the first drug.
Today at lunch, Mama said to Daddy from the kitchen where she was serving up his spaghetti, what do you want to drink, 7-UP or Gator-aid?
He did not answer. Just stared at the news he was watching.
Mama said in a LOUD VOICE
7-UP OR GATOR-AID?
Daddy said, Did you take that new pill? Your yelling at me.
Mama said, there are things pills can't fix, answer me when I ask you a question.
Are you picking up what I am putting down?
We are Fine, we missed you
And My Mama, she has me as her screen saver on her laptop, and I am laying between her and Daddy. This is my happy place, when both are sitting beside me, I can sleep and know if anyone leaves the room, like say a trip to the kitchen,

I'm so sorry what you all are going through. Especially your poor mom. But I'm glad you have your happy place. I think of you often. ❤️
That's a bunch of bad stuff going on and I'm so sorry. Big, bigger hugs from all of us.
I'm so sorry to hear you aren't feeling well, Beau. My paws are crossed for you and your parents that you all can feel better. My mom understands how yours feels when the dads don't answer when asked a simple question. BOL!
Oh, what a convoluted state of affairs! I did have to chuckle at your (attempted) conversation with Bob over his choice of beverage. That sounds exactly like a typical day in our house.
Big prayers lifting for sweet Beau!!!
Ohhhh, poor little pup. Feel better ❤️
Beau, your screensaver is gorgeous! I am so glad you are better now and all is well again.
That is a lot to cope with, and Mrs H understands about how drugs/medicine can have such contrary outcomes and feels for you. May this coming week bring better health and news for you all, happiness and joy and good or improving health.
Purrs to all

Awwww Beau... old age ain't kind, eh? Your mum is a super-trooper, keeping everything ticking along... extra special hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
It sounds like too much excitement in you household at the moment.I hope it settles down again soon.
So glad that Beau is feeling better. I'm also glad that you're back on the medication that makes you feel better. SO was Bobs not hearing you before you had to yell because he didn't have his hearing aids in or was it selective hearing
Thanks for the update. Sorry Beau's been ill, glad Bob didn't break anything... 💕
SANDRA YOU CRACKED ME UP WITH THIS
"there are things pills can't fix, answer me when I ask you a question."
I HOPE EACH DAY FORWARD IS BETTER FOR YOU AND THE DOUBLE Bs
Beau you are the most beautiful sammich I've ever seen
Hugs

Beau...things will get better...Just keep your spot between mama and dad and you will be fine. Sandra..I have taken lexapro for a number of years and I feel very comfortable with it. There are a few side effects, but I would rather deal with them as to have the side effects that some of the other meds have. Praying this works for you and you find lots of comfort in taking it.
All of you are in my prayers.
We may not be around as often, but we thnk of all of you often. Beau, we hope you are feeling better and your parents too. Meds can really do strange things

I am so sorry you took a couple steps back. I hope it starts getting back on track.
I know you are worried about Beau, as well as exhausted from carring for him with such love and devotion late at night and on through the morning. I'm glad you're back on your Lexipro and feeling stable again. Thank the good Lord that Bob didn't break a bone when he fell. Saying a prayer for all of you.
Oh Beau - I do hope and pray you get better. Your Mama loves you so much. 🙏🙏🙏
From reading the comments, it looks like its common for men not to answer. I sometimes say was that too hard to answer or did that go in the too hard basket?
Oh, dear, so sorry you were so sick, et again, Beau. Hope you'll be good now...and stay that way. It is comforting to be between thpse whom you love, and who love you so very mush as well.
Sorry to hear that Bob had a fall. Hope that doesn't set him back.
And glad you didn't continue taking the Zoloft. You must be super sensitive to that stuff. Look into Saffron, it is a plant that has antidepressant properties. I just ordered some...cause hubby gets in a 'mood' sometimes, LOL!
My hubby sometimes is SO absorbed in whatever he is doing, I might as well talk to a wall...even our pups pay more attention, LOL!
Take care, I am praying for you that you'll stay well, and have all you stand in need of.
Thanks for the update Beau and Mama. Sorry things have been squirrelly again. It's a happy place when you can sleep between Mama and Daddy I know. Give them a big hug from me and tell Mama to give you some ear rubs from me too.
