Daddy's PT Guy, told Mama the hospital bed is sucking the life out of daddy, you need a recliner, a hard one, not soft or a sofa that is high enough he can get up off of it with using a walker and he needs 4 hours a day in it or more, start with 1 hour AM and PM..
the last time he sat on the sofa, he could not get up and EMT had to come and take him to ER
Mama raced to the store 3 miles away and next day I got my new favorite place to sleep.
Daddy has not walked since March 28, and we hope sitting will help him.
Close to Daddy and has all my sleep pillows.

I can sleep on new or old, I don't really care, I spend my nights half with Mama in my old beds and half with daddy in old and new...
I am Happy! Mama is Happy!
Guess what? The old sofas were Black, this one is Navy, but it looks black to us.

I noticed the pictures on the wall right away. I though the new sofa was black. That's a very dark navy blue.

Those hospital beds are not comfortable at all. The advice sure makes sense. I really hope it helps and Bob starts showing some improvement. Beautiful scripture you chose. Sunday blessings.

It is very helpful that your Dad needed that new chair, which can double as a bed for you. That is lucky!

Oh, I pray the new firmer couch does wonders for Bob. No question about it, his (and momma's!) determination makes such a difference. Looking at you, so comfortable, why that furniture store should hire you as their spokes-dog!

What a great idea to start doing normal things like sitting on the new sofa! That PT dude was correct, being in bed all the time is NOT good for anyone...I pray this new challenge to be up for at least 4 or more hours each day will be successful! Hubby here, changed out his regular desk and dining room chairs for sturdy office style arm chairs and he uses the arm rests to assist himself in getting from sitting to standing.
