While staying off ALL devices, I watched Bob and Beau sleep, while I went through Zen Color and device withdrawal symptoms. I took photos of Misty and Mister, my ducks that visit 2 or 3 times a week, at 8 am for eating grass seeds, and dunking in the oasis, then fly a way.
they quack at the door and eat and run. I feed Tommie T the Turtle that lives in the pool,
her turtle food is delivered by Wal-mart with our groceries. I took its photo, just in case you need red ear slider food
I am absolutely bored out of my mind, memory is going, going gone, its not that I don't have plenty to do, its that I can't do the things I want to do... I am never caught up with THINGS to do, I just need to do device take me away, and I can't. I still have to type one finger and stay away from devices with keyboards.
The door latch on the sliding glass door broke in half, I burst into tears. When I finished the pity party, I went online, found what looked like it would work, drove to Home Depot, backed up in the aisle into a basket behind me and fell into the display walls, nor harm Physically. I came home and Bob and I yelled at each other while I installed it, I did get it in and it was easier that I thought, the tears were a waste. Bob was telling me how to do it and I was following the directions that came with it by looking at photos. Nothing new, we have never done anything together that did not require yelling.
I broke down in the middle of week three of not touching devices and used AI to make above kittens out of a previously colored Zen color pic.
I spent 15 minutes a day color these beautiful cats with left hand and stylus
and both of these AI only took 2 minutes, with only 5 or 6 taps trying the new Chatgpt that came in email... Above is son Dan's Chloe the mastive and Bandit the cat and below my beloved Beau, I took him for his annual all by myself and did not fall down.
( I fell again in the backyard, caught my foot in a long pieces of grass, crashed like a tree, could not get up, it took me 15 minutes to think of scooting on my bottom to the side of the pool, put my feet on the steps and jack myself up with the handrail)thus goes the boring life of the Truly MADsnapper
PS, I did manage to draw an Copy Cat from 2 of Ann's drawings, it took 3 days of 15 minutes at a time... I miss you all

I really am so sorry about all this. It seems wasted space to wish I could help in some way because I know the answer. I am glad at least that you are able to do something creative. It’s real cute what you shared today. Praying your hand gets stronger so that you can enjoy it more. You are an angel to Bob, Beau and your outside critters. Sending hugs.
We miss you so much, and it hurts that you can't feed your soul with creativity on your devices. That sucks! ❤️
Hello,
I am sorry, you must have some fun. Playing with the coloring pages, love the cute kittens and dog. Your ducks are cute too.
Take care, no more falling! Have a great day and a happy weekend!

Your treatments of the artworks is fabulous... my fave is, of course, the last one with the sunflowers! Taking restricted time limits to do a little of what you love is a sensible approach and with just a little more care, you will get back to full use again! Sending love and hugs with some ear chucks for Beau, YAM xx
Good to see an update from you! I get that it must be very boring for you not to be able to be creative in the ways that usually keep you inspired, though. This post shows you're still doing the best you can to manage your situation, though! ♥ - I did see a FB post some days ago that disappeared again, I'm glad you were able to think of a way to get back up on your feet again when you fell. I hope no lasting extra damage from that?
“We have never done anything together that did not require yelling.” There is something infinitely sad in this statement, Sandra. I am glad to see you posting again, and I hope you will be able to squeeze in another one before too long. I know that Florida is being pounded by yet another hurricane, but as far as I can tell it poses no threat to you. Thank goodness. That’s all you would need! Best wishes - David
Oh Sandra, I am so sorry you are still not able to use your hand for the things you enjoy. I am glad God sent the ducks back to visit and that Tommy the Turtle still enjoys being fed and swimming in the cement pond. Those are little bonus blessings to help you get through your days. I pray your hand will feel better soon, but you must be careful not to let it get back to hurting again. I understand. My right hand/wrist has tendonitis, mostly from using my cell phone to do things, so I have to be careful what I do also as it really hurts. Thankfully I am left handed, but it's amazing how much I use my right hand. Thankfully I can still type on the computer without any real pain, but that's not always as convenient as using my cell phone for things. Maybe if you just write to us as often as you can without doing the coloring things that take more hand skill, at least you will have "people to talk to". One day at a time. so thankful that Isaias did not come down your way, as far as I can tell. We didn't get anything from it either. Praying for those who are in the path, however. October storms are really sneaky! Take care and know that we love you and miss you. (((HUGS)))
Sandra, first thank you for an update as myself and your other blogger friends have missed your posts. Understandably, you are frustrated at not being able to create art and healing can be hard. It was sad to read that you and Bob did not do anything together without raised voices. Good news of the duck couple and Tommy Turtle still being in the yard. Sorry to read about your falls, glad you were not injured physically.
So happy to see a post from you. I can relate to doing things with a spouse and it always includes an argument. That always makes everything so much more stressful.
I'm hoping and praying that all is well with you Bob and Beau with the hurricanes in the area.
Hi Sandra, I was so happy to see a post from you. I'm sorry that your hand is still causing issues and not letting you be creative. The falls are scary too and I'm glad you're not injured.
Hooray for you fixing that door, even if there was some yelling involved. I'm thankful your critters are around to bring you joy!
We love you!
Just found your blog ~ sending you lots of healing energy hugs to have use of your hand soon ~ Wonderful digital creations ~ love the doggie ~ Hugs ^_^
It's good to hear from you, but I'm so sorry you've had such difficulty with your restricted device use. I think I would go crazy too if I couldn't use any device too.
So good to finally hear from you. I can imagine how bored you must be by not being able to do all the things you love. Maybe time for a alternate non-devise hobby to get you through. Take care and no more falls, okay?
How happy I am to "see" you again!
Geezle-peezle, what roadblocks you've overcome! McGyver has nothing on the MadSnapper. There's no way under the sun I could have fixed that sliding door latch; calling out the National Guard would have been preferable. I'm so glad Tommy and his feathered friends are all well.
You're still in my thoughts and prayers!
I MISS YOU TOO !!!
So glad to see an update about your crazy life.
Good for you doing the latch thingy and doing a bit of "coloring" too. Hopefully things will begin to turn the corner for you.
We love you and prayers are continuing every day !
(((hugs)))
Sue
We miss you too and I was thinking of emailing but then thought 'no don't wncourage her to do something painful' We hear there is a hurricane monstering toward Glorida - are you in the path of this one? We hope you are ok and it goes past without touching your part.
I'm always so happy to see you post and to see your artsy creativity on display, yay! Sweet Beau has a birthday coming up so give him a hug from all of us.
Hurrah, I am so glad to see a post! I know that everyone misses you and we all look forward to updates. You made disco ball dogs! Your coloring is amazing considering it was left handed with a stylus. I know that God is with you, as so many accidents have happened and you have not been seriously hurt.
I saw you posted and my heart leaped with joy. I was wondering how things were going.
I can relate to doing things with a spouse and it always includes a little argument.
Just the way things roll.
I did not know the ducks were back - but I am glad. Love the turtle.
I am so proud of you going to get that latch and putting it on. 'I know you must be bored out of your mind! Glad you cheated a little and had some fun.
I am so sorry things are so hard. You have to be careful with failing Sandra.
Love and hugs.
Sandra sending lots of prayers and encouragement today. I think of you all each morning. I know your creative mind is stir crazy
thankful you have found a bit to keep it busy but now aggravate you arm and hand
Hugs cecilia
All I can do is pray, and I am praying! You are loved and missed.
Oh Sandra, I also am so sad that you are having a tough time...I am glad that, even through the tough time, you are fixing things that need to be fixed and doing a bit of creating on the side. I'm praying that things improve, especially with your hands, so you can get back to creating!
Big Hugs!
Beth
Happy Birthday to Beau. We're sorry things are not going well.
We come to bring Pawkisses for a Happy Birthday to Beau🎉and will leave some Healing Pawkisses and Purrayers for all of you too🙏🏻🐾😽💞
Wow! Just yesterday, I scared a lot of people by backing into a large rock (which was there to be a little footstool or bench), sitting down so hard on it, that I continued backwards and hit my head on the ground behind the rock. Whoa! I got up, brushed my self off and felt silly...
I think you have me beat on the falling down. Thankfully the planes I was on coming and going did not fall..teehee.
Take care, you are needed and loved., and not just by Bob and Beau! Speaking of Beau: Happy Birthday to YOU!
So very sorry to learn of your being in time out with online devices but hope you are recovering and send our best wishes to a speedy and full recovery.
And speaking of sending best wishes, Wilson and I send ours to Beau. Happy (albeit belated) Barkday, you handsome hunka love. We hope you celebrated in style with a few tasty treats. 🎉 🦴 🎉
I've been missing you and hoping that things were okay. sometimes, life seems determined to throw every dart it can find straight our way. And just when we think we've dodged the last one, here comes another. God never promised us a life without a storm, but He did promise that we would never have to face them alone. I hope you can dust off all worries and every dart and keep pressing on...Knowing that you have people praying for you all the time. Praying that tomorrow brings every blessing needed....
So sorry that you are incapacitated and I was saddened to hear you have had falls. Try to be so careful. Falls can lead to bad injuries. So sorry that your hand is not better. Take care!
Dear Sandra :)
I have missed you, and knowing you are going through a rough time makes me feel sad, but you are resilient Sandra and not afraid of fixing things even though your hand hurts , It's remarkable how you made this post, and it's well done too. I enjoyed seeing the beautiful colouring done a little at a time which is sensiblle,. but falling is dangerous, you have been lucky not to have broken a hip or any bone please please be careful.
I'm glad the ducks are back, I know your fondness for them, and the turtle. Don't dispare Sandra, keep your chin up, we all love you, you are in our thoughts and wish you well, and that's all we can do, Happy Birthday to Beau, and a better week ahead for you Sandra. Much love
Sonjia.
Oh my! I have missed too much! I, too, have some kind of mechanical issue going on with my hand/wrist/arm. I finally went to Wally World and bought a wrist brace called Copper Fit. I wear it when I am on the computer and when I sleep. No more numb fingers, and no more pain. I am so sorry you are banned from what you love. You have way more staying power than I do. Sending up prayers that you will be back to your usual self soonest.
Thinking of you 3
Hugs ceciia
Continuing to send you the best. Tigris, Styx, and Lanie too
Hi hi hi! Ojo here! You have so many critters to care for! (Does your Bob count?) We hope your elbow is better soon!
