A Day Without Murphy

I had a glorious day with out Murphy's Law.. in fact it was a Negative Murphy's Law when anything good that could happen did happen.
School Stuff
My day started with a big plus, Bob had clear weather for 2 hours of flying radio control planes, and 2 hours of football plus another 3 hours of Drag Racing on the DVR.... this means I have 7 hours of Bob entertained which leaves me to......go shopping.

As the cashier swiped my new bathing suit, she said
"Do you have your ONE CARD? the answer was no, she said "if you get one today, you get 15 percent off your suit and every Monday you shop with 15 percent off your purchases"
Voila! I got 5 dollars off the suit...

Next Stop was CVS for Bob's Ultra Swim Shampoo that no one else carries.

Cashier says if you update your email address, it will add 20 percent discount to your CVS card with no expiration date...

I stopped at the other CVS  and got a 2nd bottle of expensive shampoo for 20 percent off...

BUT WAIT...There's MORE.....when I got home Bob says...

"we haven't had Gyros in a long time, why don't you go get them for lunch"

WOO HOO! this means we will be to full to eat dinner, so NO COOKING today.

LOL! And I thought I was the only one who loved brining dinner home rather than cooking/cleaning up! I love getting bargains like that!!...:)JP

Anything that means no cooking is good by me. I used to love it but I guess 50 years of it has blunted my enthusiasm. lol

Yes, it WAS a great day! That is funny about the shampoo because Phil gets a shampoo that we can only find at CVS, too! Remember the old green Prell? That is what he likes. I love your baby scarecrow and pumpkin, even the background is pretty. We have never had gyros, and I like lamb, too. where do you get them?

Sounds like a great day and I love Gyro's. We go to Greek Town-Sponge Docks in Tarpon Springs for them when I'm in Florida! The best place has moved off the main street but are just around the corner....Mr Souvlaki

It doesn't sound like your day could have been any better. This is one time a negative was a pretty positive thing.

Sounds like Murphy took a vacation and it was your lucky day. Maybe he will make it a long vacation. I love that little Autumn doll.
