I have started my food plan using low fodmap foods, as per doctor and research and the shocker is, I found on the NO list the word Coffee!
You WILL be hearing and seeing
FODMAP until it makes you as crazy as it is making me...I may change the blog to fodMAPsnapper! A link is included in case you don't know how to google .
😁
I know coffee is a diuretic, but not that it also a laxative.
If you have an upset stomach, lay off the coffee and go for Tea.
If you suffer IBS symptoms, cut the coffee or pay the price.
It is the caffeine not the coffee, I hate decaf coffee.
NOOOOOOOOOOO I WILL NOT give it up
I chose to change from 4 cups per morning to 2 cups per morning. I have a crushing headache until I drink a few sips of coffee. Yes, it is an addiction. .
I always made a 12 cup pot. I do not want to pour out expensive coffee which means I changed
to making 6 cups.
Bob's comment was just make the full pot and forget about it.
12 cups of water to 6 spoons of coffee makes a pot full. I used 3 spoons coffee to 6 cups water
The photo above is my new fake café au lait
the new 1/2 pot gives 2 mugs for me 2 mugs for Bob and about 3 oz left of coffee.
With my breakfast I dump the left over coffee in my 4 oz of Lactaid milk with a drop of Vanilla Stevia drops
and call it café au lait.
this is a trick my brain into thinking I am having a 3rd cup of Java.
One day there was barely enough to get bob's 2nd mug of coffee, and now I want to make
8 cups...
Your mission if you choose to accept it is this.
If I use 6 spoons coffee to 12 cups water and 3 spoons coffee to 6 cups,
how many spoons should I use in 8 cups of water.
Your second mission, to be done together or alone.
Please tell me what tea to drink that will calm the tummy or the mind or both.
Can/Will you help me?
PS I did get an appointment with a GI Specialist NP but not until October 26th
Just 20 days from today. woo hoo
