Walmart Bloviator #2
Saturday at O dark 30, I found myself, the MadBloviator1,walking through the doors elbow to elbow with another woman about my age.
As we stepped in the doors, Bloviator2 said to me "You and I are the only shoppers in the store with paper lists in our hands."
I said "we even used the same type of tablet. Pen and Paper is my thing. It's so easy to just jot on the tablet and much quicker to glance down at that trying to balance a phone that might get lost if I lay it down"
She said "I know, right? who needs to deal with a phone, paper is so much easier."
I said " I can beat the paper story, and you will not believe this, but last week I saw a MAN with a calculator? " Shopping! with a calulator
Her eyes went WIDE and she said "NO! You didn't?"
Ok you get the gist of it. I met Bloviator 2 at Walmart; and I am not the only Chatty Cathy in the building.
This post is for those of you who said you don't like to talk to strangers in doctors' offices and public places and don't really want someone talking to you while you wait.
To Set your minds at rest, just in case you meet me in a public place, I only talk to participating Bloviators
I say, I like your shoes. You say Thanks! if you give me zero feed back, I WILL NOT talk to you.
I only bloviate with other bloviators. Warning! the more feedback from you, the more you will get!
For those of you wondering what the glamour shots above have to do with this post, the answer is.
I asked AI for bloviator, bright colors, glamour. That is what I got.
Second try, I said "two old ladies, talking while walking into walmart BINGO!

Bloviator Report

Each morning, five days a week, hubby and I step down into this pool at the YMCA! We are first in the pool always, which gives this view because the lights are still coming up.
After Bob's surgery, he stayed home for two weeks, and I went alone. When he is with me, I am not allowed to stay and TALK... when he is done in the shower room, we leave. This puts us home at 6:30.
The first time I went alone, I walked in the door at 7.
He said Where were you, I was about to come looking for you. Really? was my answer. I was
I bloviate with the front desk person, after bloviating with 12 of us waiting for her to open the doors
The sad news is, the pool has been closed, I created this the week before it closed.. Its waiting for us. I hope. I miss my TOPS and my YMCA fellow bloviators... but I still have YOU.. I hope

5 Bloviators and counting
This past Thursday there were 5 bloviators in the lobby of the Surgical Clinic. Bob and I waited for his name to be called. A man came in the door, wandered around, started back out the door, spied Bob and froze, staring at him for long seconds, he pushed the door open, backed up letting it close, and stood staring at Bob.
He stepped over to where we sat and said "I'm sorry for staring but you look so much like my friend Harry, I thought you were him."
I laughed and said he has many look a-likes here...and shared the story of the woman who jumped in Bob's face as we walked into Wal-Mart one morning. She shook her finger at him and raked him over the coals for delivering her washer and dryer and not taking the old ones with him. She ranted and carried on even when Bob said he did not know her and The Bloviator Set Her Straight.
Anyhoo… that was the first bloviator that we met that day. He sat down and we talked until the air was blue with words. He stood up and said I have to go walk around, can't sit for long and as he walked out, Bob said to me "he talks more than you do".
Impossible I said. And explained at length I am a Chatty Cathy and he was a Chatty Carl and I will spare you that story.
they called Bob back and in walked another Chatty Cathy and a Chatty Carl together. The chose to sit facing me, and our knees almost touched.
Talk about Blue Air from words flying. The 3 of us talked over and under and on top of each other.
I LOVED EVERY MINUTE... I could go on and tell you what we talked about but, since it was over an hour, I will spare you. Bob was NOT sad he missed it. Of course I gave him the Run Down on every word he missed. He was a captive audience and I was driving. What could he do?
Are you a chatty person? Do you LOVE to talk to strangers? do you repeat conversations you had to other people?
I did an image google search for bloviators and OH WOW! Look WHAT I FOUND HERE I searched for my photo and could not find it... but we all KNOW I should be there.

Bloviator?
| Yes, LC, it is a word |
My friend Rose, of Time Stand Still, loves to go back in time and read under the labels conversation or Bob, which is the conversations between the two of us.
She says they make her laugh. Last week she emailed and said she needed cheering up, and went to my post from 5 years ago, to re-read Bloviator.

Bloviator...

| 2008 photos |
At the YMCA I noticed a new poster on the board and stopped to read it. It said Camp Talk-A-Lot and I was so excited thinking... AT LAST! a new program I can handle.... Alas, the fine print said 3 to 5 year old and I am just a TAD past that.
The above collage is my 64th birthday celebration in 2008, that Heritage Park Rehab home surprised me with. I volunteered for 6 years there and my JOB was..... are you ready? Talking, talking and telling tall tales. If you look closely, the one thing you will see if in every photo, my mouth is OPEN...
Camp Talk-A-Lot brought up these 3 stories from the past. Bob so kindly reminded me of them when I told him about the camp.
1. In 1984, my husband and I worked in Sears automotive.. I was greeter dispacher for all the mechanics jobs. Bob and his friend Mel were standing at the counter and Mel said... "Bob, its a good thing Sandra doesn't work outside" and I said WHY? Mel said "because with all the talking you do, your tongue would be sunburned."
2. Hubby and my 25 year old son and myself were leaving church and as I stood in a group of people TALKING, with the two men waiting impatiently for me, My son said to the group "my mom has a black belt in conversation".
3. When I first joined the YMCA in 06, Bob was talking to the lifeguard and mentioned me. Renee said "Isn't your wife the one that talks alot?"
Now you know why my post are so LONG and full of verbiage... I write like I talk... And all this Bloviating is not my fault. I was born to be a bloviator...and to bloviate in person or on line. The funny thing is, a few days ago, while reading a book in my kindle, the word bloviating appeared in a sentence and I thought WHAT? tapped that word and this is what came up... It is a for real word and fits me perfectly.
I may just change the name of my blog from MadSnapper to Bloviator...
