Black and White Sunday...Saw Palmetto and Palm

These Saw Palmetto trees are in a circle around our biggest pine tree. I have dozens of photos of it from over the years. I found if I take the photos in black and white and edit them a little in PicMonkey, the details are amazing.

Below is a palm in the corner of the yard but not sure of the name.

Dead and Alive

Above and below, are dead Saw Palmetto Fronds. I do so swear, I am the one who chopped them down and left them where they lay. They were poking me in the back when I was just a swingin in my swing. A few days after the chopping, I noticed they were as pretty in death as they were when alive.

If you live in Florida, visit Florida, drive any where in Florida you will see this palm.. it grows every where ad we have a giant one in our back yard... If you want to know more go here Serenoa and Wikipedia will tell you way more than I can. Bob hates it, I love it.....

 While snapping at the dead, I noticed the alive fronds above my head against blue sky.

The plant has berries that are edible, I will not try them but THEY say they are.
here is proof because they sell this on the internet. Seems this plant is alternative medicine (YAWN)
