These Saw Palmetto trees are in a circle around our biggest pine tree. I have dozens of photos of it from over the years. I found if I take the photos in black and white and edit them a little in PicMonkey, the details are amazing.

Ha ha at fake plant quote. Have a serene Sunday. Hope you are looking forward to some big easy today.
Best wishes Molly
It is interesting how the details pop in black and white...I've noticed that before. I'll be seeing some palmettos next month when we go to Jekyll for our family beach trip!
Happy Sunday to you!
All those lines look so interesting in B&W!
Awesome details in your b&w's. I love the quotes.
Terrific views in B&W - I like what you did with these. The quotes are good too!
I love the direct contrasts and all the grades of shadows in between. Great job.

GREAT B&W photos
Gentle hugs
Madi and mom
they make for great images in b&w!
Awesome black and whites. I like the quotes too. I think I would probably kill a fake plant the same way...lol
The quote by George Carlin is almost the same thing I say all the time
The last two are my favorites! Beautiful and classic!
They do make beautiful black and whites!!!! Great idea, Sandra!...:)JP
Pretty dazzling in black and white!! And the fern fronds in front of the pool is a great post too.
These pictures are amazing and you sure can see all of the detail. My sister in South Carolina has a Palmetto something or other in her front yard. She has to trim the fronds from the bottom. My, it is so pretty. I really like these black and whites.
Plant you anywhere and you will find some creativity, Sandra, even in the back yard, and I so agree with the Carlin quote.
I love any kind home in black and white!
Love the depth that b&w give to photos. You've captured it so well.
These look quite stunning in black and white.
I love B/W photos and these are great. Those two quotes are great, the first one really cracked me up.
You can make absolutely ANYTHING a work of art!!! Loved seeing what you do with your photos!

These are marvelous black-and-white photos. You've done a great job of bringing out the details.
A good idea to edit the palms in black and white as you get interesting contrasts and shapes. Something to try after I've visited the Palm House in town. Have a good day, Sandra.
I used to always keep B&W in one of my film cameras...
Very pretty in Black & White!
