Summertime...and the living is easy....

I have to get back to posting but am still not 100 percent back to normal. I NEED to post, it helps keep my brain active.

The posting is easy, the commenting takes a lot of time and typing. SOOO.. My comments will be sporadic, not everyone every day, and will be short comments.
Hope this works, I am missing blogging a LOT

Wandering around in the sun and breezes, I noticed if I stood behind the ferns, I could get ferns and pool... When they came up on my screen I started humming Summertime and the living is easy....

Summertime in the Red Neck Riviera A.K.A backyard of Bob and MadSnapper
On second thought, would Riviera Residents use the swing for a clothes line?

See that big limb in the middle of the photo to the left? just above the towels... not one but THREE raccoon were in there yesterday... they are getting out of hand.
and yesterday was day 60 and the babies are due... HELP

Well I like your backyard Riviera and I'm sure if they had a swing they would use it as a clothesline. I don't have a swing any more but the frame from it is still sitting on my deck and guess what's hanging on it?
Love the picture of the fern with the sun shining through it. The little black dots around the leaves look like they were put on with a sharpie...lol

How many babies are in a raccoon litter? Screw on that long-distance lens so you can get good photos of the wee ones.

Best,
Bonnie

I very much like that reflection in your pool, Sandra.

Uh OH! Those raccoons are sounding like major trouble in your near future.

Hope you are feeling better soon!

love your ferns!

Lovely pool you have there. We have raccoons here, but I've never seen a live one, just road kill. They get into my sister-in-law's feeders out in the country though. Drives her crazy.

I love all your pictures today, especially one and three! Gorgeous sunny ferns with beautiful aqua blue background! What is so cool is that with the sun shining through them, you can see each row of tiny seeds, WAY cool! And you be cool, too...take it easy.

Just keep us in the loop so we know how things are going.
Oh my, wonder what the raccoon population will be like by next week.
Hate to have them be too comfortable in your yard and house.

Love the ferny view. Very elegant.

Oh boy, those baby coons are gonna be exciting in more ways than one. No worries about visiting or commenting to me, just get better!

I can't help but think the living would be easier without all the raccoons. I'm glad to hear that you are on the mend -- don't worry about the comments. Just concentrate on getting completely well.

I love that backyard Riviera too! And so nice of you to provide a pool for the raccoons to wash their food. Lol. So sorry that this back thing is giving you such grief. I am having an issue with sitting. I so agree that posting is the easy part. Take it easy as you make plans for the new 'kids' arriving.

Would love to have a pool to cool off in when the heat hits. :)

Glad to read you are feeling a little better and everyone's backyard is their own paradise that's for sure. Besides, who could afford a trip to the Riviera...not us!

I love those ferns. On the Redneck Riviera the clothes would be hung on the car that sitting up on cinder blocks in the front yard. LOL!

You are going to be overrun with raccoons. The mamas I've seen usually have had five or six little ones with them.

I don't even want to think of critters...or critter tales. Sarah has had problems with chipmunks of all things and you don't want to hear the tale of it...it would take too long to tell.

Wish you could sit and enjoy blogging like you want to.

Meant to say I love that last fern shot...
