BREAKING NEWS, our Thankful Thursday has an update, Bob did really well with  walking with his walker, it was like he was a different man.
He walked 3 times longer with the home health PT than he has in a year, he stood at the sink from wheel chair,  and did all his balance/strength building exercises. For the first time in 9 months.

He ate lunch by with assistance, walking with a walker to the breakfast bar and we ate there, for the first time in a year.

PT said he might with a another week of PT  be able to transfer from chair to car to chair and we will not need to pay a driver.

We are thankful for all your prayers and support and we are thankful today that God is answering new ones daily. Possibly this means there is hope to in a few weeks get rid of the bedside commode.
Thank you to our heavenly Father and to all of you for your support and love.

Sparkling Party Glasses I

I gifted myself these Sparkling Party glasses, when I received an e-gift card for Amazon from a dear blogger friend. Bob and I drop everything we pick up, and these colorful, sparkling glasses make me happy to see the water in them, and liven up our lives, and not if but when we drop them, they are shatter proof and there will be no picking of glass our of my feet.
PLUS they are Excellent Targets for my Moodling with my cell phone.

I asked myself, is taking photos of my new glasses a waste of my time? Back to Google I went. I stumbled on The Art of Moodling, on a Blog named Thirty Thousand Days.
She wrote these  words,
One lesson I learned from my diagnosis of cancer was to “stop what I was doing.”
In A few words, this is the message I heard.

Stop,We can practice doing nothing. Resisting the urge to fill every minute productively.
Stare out the window at the cardinal.
Lay in a hammock and read (I choose my bed)
Sit, Watch the dog or cat or baby sleep.
this one hit me between the eyes.
Playing with my sketching pencils and watercolors. (no longer wanting to get good)

You all know how much I love painting in procreate. and showing it to you. I actually thought of stopping my blog, so I could Get Better and watch videos, and make them look more professional. NOT GOOD... moodling is doing what you love, for the joy of it. Stop trying to be better at it and just enjoy doing it.
Look out, more moodling is going on now that I know its ok that I don't have to compete with other moodlers to be as talented as they are, in writing, drawing, reading a book because THEY said read it.

Can you see that each of these photos has a different shadow? I played with these glasses for a full HOUR.. loved every minute of it
