Tummy Tamer Tea

 

I has been six weeks since I ordered Heather's Tummy Care, Fennel Tea bag.

I used all 45 of the bags that came in the Tin. One a day, and on a rare occasion a 2nd cup in the PM. I drop the bag in the cup, heat 1 cup water to rolling boil and gently drizzle over tea bag, wait 10 minutes each morning at wakes\ up. Any cramps or bloating I have is gone within 5 minutes of the first 3 sips. In PM if I eat something that causes gas/bloating, like legumes, I make a cup and sip and it is gone in a few minutes.

I tried teabags from Amazon that look exactly like these, and they do not work well at all, plus I had to use 2 per cup to get it strong enough.

I ordered the 145 bags from Heathers Site. There are many other benefits from Fennel Tea and the seeds. I am starting to research those, THIS was my first search

YES! I know this is a coffee mug/cup!

I use it for brewing my teabag because the lid fits perfectly. 

The Lid was in the drawer, and I thought, WOW that looks perfect. There are two left over from

when our dog Big Boy was so sick, and had to eat special canned dog food, only 1/4 of can at a time.

Expensive lids! because the food was expensive. Who knows why I saved them.

The reason for the Cup of Tea, that I truly do not like, is this tea if sipped while walking around the house, eases bloating, and gas pains and makes them go away.

Works for after surgery gas also. I learned this at age 28 from a sweet nurse after my surgery.

Back then it was Lipton tea. It worked also. 

If you wake up with tunny pains, sip strong tea and walk.

My UTTERMOST Senior Moment

 

Friday night, I found the CMA Awards 2022, on Demand, because I FORGOT to DVR them. For those of you who don't know that Country Music Awards here in USA!

Bob got up and went to the bathroom and as the singing began, I quickly put it on hold because I saw something I wanted Bob to SEE, not hear, SEE!

Our kitchen is in the living room, one big room, and since it was close to  bedtime, I put the tea kettle on to heat water for my peppermint tea that sits by the bed during the night.  Each night I stand patietnly watching the kettle boil because if I leave the room, I forget it is boiling.

Bob came down the hall, saying as he walked, what do you want me to see?

I stepped to the remote and brought up this photo....,3 famous Country Music Stars singing song in tribute to Loretta Lynn who passed away this year.

 I said LOOK! he said WHOA!!! I said Exactly!

My payback for talking about someone behind their back or make that almost to her face was instant. I was so busy talking to Bob and he to me, I sat down to pick apart Blakes ex wife outfit. 

SHORTLY I smelled something HOT.

OMG! I jumped and ran for the kitchen.

The kettle is/was stainless steel, it was glowing, the lid had blown off the black knob, pot was melting, the stove was red hot.

 I turned off the burner and grabbing a hot mitt ran for the door, leaving the sliding glass door open

and turned  the hose on the kettle after sitting it on a piece of slate. Bob came out and said WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

I said I forgot the kettle and it was GLOWING

He replied, how did you get it out here?

I said, Hot Mitt! He said Why didn't you tell me?

REALLY? you saw me jump and run, the kitchen was full of smoke

the smell was horrible, and you could not guess?

It cannot be salvaged and will be in the trash bin at the curb.

The knob is gone, the inside is black, water pours out the seams in the bottom

I DID NOT PURCHASE a new one.

I will use a microwave glass measuring cup to heat water and pour into my insulated cup for the night

I HAD a horrid time going to sleep that night because I kept playing the house burning down scenario while I was gossiping about how someone clothing choice.

Bottom of the Barrel

While looking for my MoJo, I scraped the bottom of the blogger barrel and here you go.

I present to you my newest Addiction..... Black decaffeinated Tea with Fresh lemon

NOTE: the tea is Brown, so why is it called Black Tea?

Yes, this is my dedicated TEA cup, some of you may remember the lemon curdled coffee from last week.
Never Again....
I found this tea by accident, they were out of Lipton. I don't drink tea, but keep it for when I get a stomach ache... did you know if you have a bloated tummy, you can drink hot tea and walk and it will pass away..

The little yellow top jar Used to hold something or other, I can't remember what... Now I squeeze my Meyer Lemons and store this in the fridge.... BOB planted the seeds per my request, that way I will have fresh lemons and more stuff to blog about.
