Learning Curve on AI

The first time I opened ChatGPT AI, I opened the site, clicked on images, it said take a photo, clicked on that, my camera opened on iPad and I took a photo of our TV and sofa and ottoman with Beau in his spot on the carpet.
In describe what  you want, I typed put an elf on the ottoman, on a beach in Florida with palm trees.
YIKES! zoom in on the elf.
I cropped it below.

AI wants descriptive words and doesn't like simple commands

The 2nd time I used Chat AI, I took a photo of my framed photo of my cousin Andrea and I, in our back yard, when we were 5 years old.. I am on the left.
The photo hangs in my hall. I simply uploaded the photo and clicked on Sketch, kept it simple and said, place the two girls under a giant pecan tree in Savannah Georgia. WOW!

If we remove the barn, from the snapshot above, this is what the it looked  behind the buildings. The tall roof is Andrea's home, the short one on the right is the chicken coop.
I spent the first 10 years of my life, living in their chicken coop, that uncle Jimmy remodeled, into a 4 room and tiny bath home for us. 20 steps from their back door.
Born during the war, in 1944, this is Savannah GA 1949 in the sketch.
AI got it perfect, it is even more like us than the photo shows. It saw details not shown to naked eye in the small photo.
My 3rd time using Chat turned into all the sketches you have been viewing  over the past few days using old photos of Me, Bob and Beau.
Guess what just happened, I saw out to the right in blogger draft a pen and star, hovered and it said Google search, link your blog, I clicked it and it linked Savannah GA 1949 to the post. I did not pick the link Google AI did it. I will not be using this, it picked several things, all the links you see, and when you click it takes you to search the words it picked. I am leaving it because
Now you can see the city as it looked when I was a child.

Sunday Selfies, Sketches (BeauSpeak)

I have NO selfie control. MAMA is In Charge, and she Popped me in PINK, using procreate. She said, "I am powered by caffeine and my iPad" and you look pretty in pink.
I said, its OK Mama, just send my selfie to NASA, because now I am a STAR.

Mama said "Beau, AI stands for Always Interesting" lets show the  E-family the AI sketch selfies...My followers are REAL, not artificial, and this post is AI-mazing.

Mama found a Bot that created AI PUNS...she is not this smart.

The Cloud is my happy space.
My captions are AI Approved.

AI and Me, Again

I opened my laptop camera and took the photo below, went to ChatGPT and ask it to make the photo into a sketch..

AI is wonderful, crazy, scary, dangerous, and a whole lot more. Each time THEY, come up with a new one, I dive in and play and play and then move on.
I have to say that Chatgpt.com is really good, maybe the best so far. I have played with all the ones that pop up. I just went to websight and did the free version, no app, and no log in. It asked for me to log in with FB, and 2 others, but I chose email and that is all. no Passwords or using Social Media.
I took a selfie of Bob and I while we were eating his first meal at the breakfast bar this week, his first walk alone, using his walker, to the breakfast bar to eat since July 11, 2025. It's only 8 steps but we no longer have to roll to the kitchen, and roll back and transfer etc. He can stand up from the bed and get himself to the bar.
We have eaten every meal at that bar for 36 years, unless our kids were here to eat.
He remembered as we ate that the reason we always ate at the bar was the TV could be seen. Racing and Football back in 1989 could not be paused, backed up, forwarded or on a DVR.. He had to watch it while it was live.
Beau was so happy, he hates the kitchen because of the slippery tile...
The sketch below is excellent, from this

this one is now my wallpaper on my laptop

I used this ,my favorite photo of Beau, and got this last sketch. I love them all.

Sneaky Cell Phones

I took the above photo with my phone, and it asked if I want to do a remix. I could make something up or choose from a list.
I chose to turn it into a 1970's photo shoot.
It does look like me but only after AI trimmed, shaped and smoothed.
Research showed this is Google AI photo app, that was secretly downloaded in the update on my phone.
Do you know someone who could make and app that I could jump through and make it change me to look like this?
It is odd how much it looks like me, but makes it much better

AI makes things too perfect, like Hallmark Movies.
with every update I check my apps and see what has been added and most of them I delete. It took me a long time to realize the updates add new apps. I did find this was added to the phone app and can't be deleted. I found 4 new games were added and I deleted them. They sneak all these things in, so we have to buy new phones...
Christmas Past and something RED

You are somebody's reason to smile!

Google AI made the two graphics for me and I copied one of them.. Can you guess which one is MINE?  HO HO HO

I rounded the corner into the Ice Cream Aisle in Publix, and at the very end, stood a tiny woman, bent with age, unable to look up at the top of the freezers.
She was just standing there, and I knew what she wanted, she just stood staring at me with squinted eyes, and I could see she did not want to ask for help.
Stepping close to her, I lit her up with my best 100-watt smile and she smiled back at me with a 200-watt smile and said
"I need help, will you help me?"
I laughed and said, "Yes, I will help you, which one do you want me to get down for you? "

She laughed and said "I want the Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream, I can't see it, but it's always on the top shelf on the right. I handed it to her, and she cuddled it against her sweater like it was a baby, thanked me and we both toddled off in different directions.
She was my smile, I was her smile.

You are somebody's reason to smile! You can BE someone's Smile!

``A smile is a curve that sets everything straight.'' -- Phyllis Diller

``Use your smile to change the world; don't let the world change your smile.'' -- Chinese proverb

``Smile, it is the key that fits the lock of everybody's heart.'' -- Anthony J.

AI Overview

"Be the reason someone smiles today" is a call to action to spread kindness and positivity through small, thoughtful gestures. It means actively making an effort to brighten someone's day, whether through a simple compliment, a helping hand, or a warm smile, which can have a significant and positive impact on their well-being and create a ripple effect of joy.

Pixlr now has AI

I received an email stating Pixlr now has AI. I asked it for
Black and white digital art, senior man driving a small golf cart, with an old golden
retriever standing in the cart. Above s what I got. hummmm
I chose this because twice now I have seen a senior man with an old Golden retriever, once he was pulling him in a child's red wagon and had 3 small elderly dogs on leashes. The second time was Saturday on the way home from Walmart, and he was driving a golf cart down the sidewalk with the retriever standing in between his legs on the floor.
this man loves his pups. I was driving both sightings and no photos.
what else could I do but Ask AI

I copied and pasted the same command in Bing AI and this is what I got.

 '

I changed the command to senior walk 3 small dogs on a leash and pulling a golden retriever in a child's wagon. Works great pushing with the leash and just how did he get the man in the wagon with the dog. Ha ha

Mouse Shoulder AKA, RMS

Hi, my name is Sandra and I am suffering from Mouse Shoulder
Don't fret! I've had it before and I've had it for almost 20 years. That age it comes more often. Copied and pasted the the information below from a post that I did in the middle of 2020 lockdown to tell you what was going on then and what is going on now

Yes, AI and I are at it again..

My shoulder, neck, arm and hand have been more pain that I could stand at times.

The diagnosis is RMD also called RMS, and the easy way to search is Mouse Shoulder, No I did not get bitten by a mouse. Repetitive Movement Syndrome.. I HAVE it and have for years. It happens when I PLAY to much on a computer.

What does repetitive movement mean?

Definition. Repetitive motion disorders (RMDs) are a family of muscular conditions that result from repeated motions performed in the course of normal work or daily activities.

For me, mine is Computer and other devices over use. Mouse and TYPING... I pretty much live on the computer. I am going to take a few days off, to decide, what and how to do.

There are exercises and mine can be fixed by STOPPING using the computer. 24 hours off and I am pain free.

She is pointing at her left shoulder, mine is my right. AI was confused

My personality always makes me go crazy when I get a new device, I now have SIX active and 3 or 4 laying around not active. When I get something new I go crazy until I know all it will do...
Since my skin cancer removal is tomorrow at noon, I am going to take the day off and either come back Friday or Saturday.
I am between the devil and the deep blue sea, because I use the devices to keep my sanity, but when the shoulder hurts, the devil wins.

To Smell or Not to Smell

Most of you know I have Scent Sensitivities and if a person with perfume on comes near, or someone lights a scented candle, or a Dumbo waiter has so much cologne on, I have been known to complain. I also complained recently because Dawn has a new scent and blah blah blah.
today I am lodging a new complaint.

The new jar of Vicks Vapor Rub came to my door in the free to me by health insurance order.
The jar it is replacing is about 5 years old. I use it when I have a cough and sometimes on the bottom of my nose to help me breathe when allergies are keeping me awake. This was learned from My dad who was born in 1913.
the NEW Vick's  has no scent! ingredients the same, looks the same, not the same. Since it was generic, I bought the Brand Name Vicks, and it has no scent either.

Yes, there are matches in my AI creations of Vicks Vapor Rub, because I have loved matches my entire life, and learned a use for matches other than fire, again from my dad.
The smell of a match when struck, that delightful to me smell of Sulphur, covers bad odors.
In fact, he kept matches in our bathroom's and for all my decades of life, I too have used matches for odor removal and simply put LOVE the smell.
THEY have removed the smell.
If anyone know where to buy matches that still smoke and stink, please advise.
Yes, these are images from Bing Designer because I rather play with AI than take a photo of the Real Stuff here in my house.

Tooth Fairy

In the quiet of the night, not a peep,
Lay a small boy, sound asleep.
Under his pillow, a tooth he did stash,
Hoping the Tooth Fairy would leave some cash.

With a flutter and twinkle, the fairy arrived,
For teeth under pillows, she always strived.
She tiptoed close, with a magical thrill,
And slipped a crisp five-dollar bill.

The tooth she took, with a grin so merry,
Another for the collection, oh how extraordinary!
The boy would wake with a gap-toothed smile,
And a wallet a bit heavier, in just a little while.

I asked Designer for both  poem and pictures and I have NO IDEA why!
Because I could? I just found this in my drafts, created on the 15th. Maybe a fairy has been in my computer.

UPDATE, it was Monicas post on Beyond the Lone Islands, she just commented. now I know why I did it. HAHA on my memory. look HERE to see why I did this..

Brain Dead? Memory Desertion?

This post is dedicated to the memory of MY MEMORY... the one I used for 78 years, it is either dead or has deserted me. I had to look up desert/dessert to see which one to use here.
I found this
To Desert (someone or something) for (someone or something else): This idiom means to leave or abandon someone or something in favor of someone or something else. It implies a sense of betrayal or abandonment.
Simply Said, My Memory has simply abandoned me this past week.

#1.  I had THREE pots going at one time and since I am not good at cooking, the green beans were ready first and I left it on warm.
We ate lunch at 12 noon. At 3 pm, I heard Bob pour dog food in Beau's bowl and then loud cursing. I sprang (ha ha) from the bed I was reclining on with a kindle in hand and headed for the kitchen. The smell was horrid. I had left the burner on warm for 3 hours, Bob took frozen loaf of bread out to thaw and for some reason his brain deserted him and HE LAID the bread ON THE BURNER, sat down in front of the TV and loudly cursed when he smelled plastic burning.

The house did not burn down, the bread was salvaged except for two bottoms of 2 slices, and we did the What ifs, the thankful prayers of thanks for the what ifs that did not happen and we spent TWO days getting the plastic off the coils to the burner.

#2.  My quick trip to Publix to grab RX and 4 things Walmart did not have, went well and when I got home, I only had 2 bags, having left the 3rd bag with a 5-dollar bottle of Cranberry Juice hanging on the bag hook at the self-check register. A return trip, found the register watcher girl, had saved it for my return trip.

#3. Fast forward a week, and I am shopping at Walmart, and nearly faint when the price is over 200.00. After we lugged it all in the house, I told Bob, dog food had gone up to double the price, and was 60.00.
I forgot to check the price when I zapped it with the handheld gun thingy because I had 10 items that needed the hand scanner thingy. I grabbed the receipt to read the price of dog food to Bob and and much to my embarrassment, I found I HAD

SCANNED THE DOG FOOD TWICE, the price still 30 as it was the last time.

The good news is, I took the receipt back to Customer Service, they put the 32 dollars back on my debit card.
I do love Walmart, most of the time.

Memory RECAP : I left a burner on, I left the bag at the store, I double charged MYSELF and had to drive to each store TWICE using twice the gas.

This is eating into my AI playtime, which is supposed to help my cognitive abilities, but I did find time to create crazy brains pics with Bing Designer and I have noticed my cognitive abilities are getting worse not better, I wonder if AI is messing with my mind???

PS:  I FORGOT TO PUT TOMATOES on Bob's Tacos EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE IN THE BOWL IN FRONT OF MY FACE.      HE DID NOT EVEN NOTICE.

TO GET THESE I TYPED "SENIOR WOMAN WITH BRAIN EXPLODING WITH IDEAS

The Apple Shape and the Powder Puff Take Down Part 2

In prior post, the Powder Puff Take Down, you may have seen the above creation of
#OOTD (# outfit of the day) and read the story of taking down our Powder Puff tree.

The above #OOTD ugly jeans are the leg protectors for yard work, I only have one good pair, these are the old ones I wore when I weighed 70 pounds more than I do now.  Thus the "draped jean skirt effect"

The story of the pants is the fact that underneath whatever I wear, the body parts between head and hips is a perfect Apple Shape. This has frustrated me for all 79 of my years. Even as a child/teen, even though I was not overweight, the apple waist was always larger than the bust and hips.
Anything I buy, from skirts, pants, blouses, underwear, if it fits my waist comfortably, it is way to big on the top and bottom.
See the apple above?  In 2017, I found stretch leggings, and a box shaped T-shirt, hides the apple from sight. Comfy and the apple disappears unless the wind is blowing like last week and it presses the box shirt up tight against me then the apple appears.

This size chart is off of Amazon and since they are never correct, I am using it to show you there is no size that is small bust, large waist, even smaller hips. My hips are 6 inches smaller than my waist. NONE of this is my size because I have no size. I must try things on to do the mirror test of
DOES IT HIDE THE APPLE

I created 3 of me showing the Apple Effect, this was a photo of a real apple, sitting on a pepper shaker.

Ivy and/or Pterofancy

I asked Microsoft Designer to recreate the leaping worms and the Ibis at her buffet.
the first 2 looked like they belonged in Jurassic Park,
I asked AI what would you name an Ibis and an earthworm that lives in Jurassic Park?

Designers reply below.

In the wild and wacky world of Jurassic Park, where dinosaurs reign supreme, naming an Ibis and an earthworm might require a sense of humor as ancient as the park itself.

For the Ibis, how about "Pterofancy," a nod to its dinosaur-like cousins with a touch of class? And for the earthworm, let's go with "Squigglesaurus Rex," the mightiest and squiggliest of them all, ruling the underground with an iron... segment?

These names would surely have the other Jurassic inhabitants roaring with laughter (or whatever sound an amused Velociraptor makes).

"Squigglesaurus Rex and "Pterofancy," by Designer

Never one to give up when I am not in love with what I received, I tried again.

Ivy the Ibis, a sight to behold,

At the breakfast buffet, so brave and so bold.

With a leap and a dance, worms take to the sky,

Under sprinklers they soar, as they jump oh so high.

She feasts with a flap, in the morning's soft light.
