About the silly pics yesterday, I went out side to take a photo of these ugly glasses and then went crazy with Insta toon app.
Questions came up about the High Cost of my new Glasses on a post last week.
In 1990 I wore reading glasses around my neck on a chain, and in 1990 suddenly I could not see well and found I needed to wear glasses during waking hours.
I have a stigmatism in my right eye and needed trifocals.
Above Ugly Glasses 1991 were fashionable then, and I got the cheapest trifocals that had lines in them. wore them for YEARS.
Hated then for years. I felt them on my face all the time.
Glass heavy, causing nose and ear pain from the weight.
In photo above you will see All Glasses I have worn since 1991.
Ather the ugly lines ugly glasses I changed to progressive lens and they aways cost more than the lens with lines.
I tried rimless and they were lighter but did not last long.
next was a frame at top rimless bottom, all of the Glass hurt my nose/ears because it got thicker each pair.
3rd row left, free glasses from Insurance, heavy glass, metal frame no cost but Medicare doesn't pay for progressive lens, have to be distance and reading WITH Lines
3rd row, rimless were my first pair of Silhouette.

My sight is my most precious thing to me and comfortable comes next... IN THE DISTANT PAST, BEFORE WRINKLES, RIMLESS ALLOWED MY BEAUTIFUL EYES WITH NO WRINKLES AND MASCARA TO SHOW THROUGH. Alas! I can no longer wear mascara because my eyes burn and get red. Wrinkles are here to stay but I am COMFORTABLE.
