Elsie the cow has been framed

I removed my salt/pepper photo from its place on the wall in my kitchen and added E my drawing. I named her after the famous Elsie the Borden cow. She was around all my entire life and also all of Bob's life. Elsie the Borden cow was created in 1936, the year Bob was born.

I told you in a prior Post about Two Keith's and a Ruby, and today Ruby came and walked Beau with me tagging along. She was thrilled with how good he is. Ruby has agreed to be my backup for anytime I need help with Beau. If I can't walk him, or get him to ER or Vet she will come help me. She is a volunteer dog trainer with Southeastern Guide Dogs. I am preparing an email with everything all of you already know about Beau, including Vet's # and address and full instructions.
She will be my back up when needed for all things Beau. He loves Ruby and her husband Keith.
In other news today, we are awaiting a visit from La Plumber, both toilets are refusing to flush. Again!

Mish Mash- A Splash and a Dash

I sit at the kitchen table to keep an eye on Bob while he is in the pool once a day. The Therapist and nurses tell him, don't get in the pool, its to dangerous. It has algae and can make you sick, you are a high  on fall risk, so every day he gets in the pool.
So far, at least half the days, I need band-aids and towels to hold pressure on blood thinner bleeding wounds and he fell twice. No Injuries and no death by algae.
The blood pressure gadget lives on the table, I take it when he falls to make sure it is not caused by low BP.

After he is in the house and down on the sofa, I dashed off to pick up Beaus Vet RX and stopped at Dollar General for a few things. Stepping in the door, I found this and here you go my dear friend Yamini . When I saw it, he said to me Yam would love me, buy be please. Alas, Yam is in Scotland.

If not for the tariffs I would send you this COO, from me to you!

On the way home, I found a RED house for Tiggers Mum, she did a recent post about a red house. I love this one. Freshly painted in the past few weeks. At first it was shocking but I stopped and stared and now I will go back to get a better photo

I might go back and get the whole house, its really lovely.

I am thankful today that I have all of my blogging friends all over the world, and that I know most of you well enough to know what you like and do not like.

I am thankful I have feline and canine and human friends and that we are all like one big family.

Roses Cow

I found this beautiful cow/bull on Roses blog, Pics & Pieces
and asked permission to draw it.

I cropped the head to use as a model. Thank you Rose, for loaning me your photo

Mooooo 1st Try ,
How now, brown cow,
When they removed your neck and body, did you say OW?

Mooooo 2nd Try, . I am quite proud of drawing a cow by looking at a cow and not trying to copy someone else's drawing.
If you think you have seen these types of your kids' drawings, on your fridge years ago.
IT might be TRUE

Hi my name is Mooo and I am her favorite. she said she enhanced me a little each time.
I wanted to tell you a lot of cow jokes, but I thought you have proably herd them all.
“Moo-chas gracias for being my udderly great friends!”

Archive Diving... Photo's taken in 2004 with my Kodak point and shoot, before DSLR... they belong to my friend Kathy Howell...

JUST SO YOU KNOW, TODAY IS 3/13/13

What happened to the lost cattle?    nobody's herd

What do you get from a pampered cow?   Spoiled Milk

What did the farmer call the cow that had no milk?   An udder failure
