Hibiscus schizopetalus - Japanese Lantern

Flowers today are from my thousands of flower pics taken in Selby Gardens, Sarasota....

Above is Hibiscus schizopetalus - Japanese Lantern
the bushes are as about 15 feet tall and stunning.

One liners by Mitch Hedberg.

An escalator can never break — it can only become stairs.

I’m against picketing, but I don’t know how to show it.

I think Bigfoot IS blurry, that’s the problem — it’s not the photographer’s fault.

I love gardens , don't think I would ever tire of flowers.
Hee hee bout BIG FOOT and funny thing too my friend and I were just discussing that because she honestly does believe they exist ( she's also county sherif so she has passed as being sane too ) Oh I suppose anything is possible . Glad you are back in the swing Sandra :)) I will make sure to have puppy pics for you .

Bird of paradise is such a beautiful flower, Sandra. I have only up close and personal and none in this area, although it should be warm enough in summer months.

These flowers are absolutely gorgeous. The Japanese Lantern is new to me, but I'd like to see it in person.

Well that explains why no one can get a clear photo of old Bigfoot. I love the Bird of Paradise! Wish they would grow here.
