Good Fence Thursday - Etc

In a prior post I showed you photos of Flag House. To reach the Flag House, I parked my Kia next to this beautiful fence, that belongs to the house below.

Joining TexWisGirl for Good Fence Thursday

I walked down past this beautiful tree and lovely home

and down the side walk.

 Past this home

and stood on the sidewalk to take a photo of the flag house. these are the homes directly across the street from the flag house. I love the trees and older home in this area...and if the crushing humidity and heat ever give us a break, I will show you more...

Amazing images. I love all the houses but especially the mansion in image Nr. 5. The light is especially nice.

I love that tree in the third pic! Is that a cypress tree?

It looks like a beautiful neighborhood.

What a lovely street. The shade is inviting but ahhh those from the south know there is not enough shade to keep the humidity away.
Love the Spanish Moss

That is a very pretty neighborhood! I don't know if the homeowners love the Spanish Moss, but I've always thought it looked pretty!

What gorgeous views! Lovely homes and yards. I like the solid white fences - they provide a lot of privacy.

Beautiful homes in a shady street. However, I can't imagine the humidity so thank you for sharing this attractive neighbourhood and hope you can keep cool.

I could live in the first house! Looks good for handicap, too! But all the houses are just lovely. And just as nice are those wonderful trees, bright green grass and spanish moss!

You have beautiful hones in your area - I also have to say I love those trees with that Spanish moss growing n those trees - we are just a little to north to have that happen here. Wish we did.

I love the feel of your area. Many cozy homes and lovely fences.
Hope the humidity finally settles down and you can get out and enjoy more.
We are only in the 80's today...not our usual mid summer temps.

What a beautiful neighborhood. I love all the trees especially the oaks dripping with Spanish moss. I hope whoever is doing the yard work does it early before it gets too hot.

When you said crushing heat...I felt it. I am mentally already gone into Fall. Now if the weather would only follow me.
Homes that are so lovely and the moss...it all came back to me. That swaying mysterious moss..I remember it well...Especially at midnight when "Love Jacksonville" played before the National Anthem..and then snow...and that sound..

While Florida is a state I would notnlive in as the heat and humidity can be worse than where we live now (seems true by your statements, Sandra) the neighborhood you showed looked lovely and green too.
