Crayon's do NOT burn....

I tried to burn this brown candle, all it did was make a mess... and Stink.

Are you asking yourself why I would try to burn a candle?

It is my belief that 95 percent of everything that is posted on Facebook is NOT TRUE... when at all possible I try to prove it. The below photo showed up on FB and that is the answer to why.... I tried to burn a candle.

I did manage to burn a few in PicMonkey

Well now you've saved me from trying that experiment. I wondered if it really worked or not.
I like your PicMonkey ones. You need to relight the pink and green, they appear to have gone out....lol

I think you just didn't choose the right color crayon. I've heard that brown doesn't burn. You should keep trying until you get to the right color. Keep us informed please.

Best,
Bonnie

Wonderful idea...if it worked.

Santa brought a Crayola Melt and Mold and it didn't work either.

yeah, i'd not be whipping out a box of crayons in a blackout.

Did you try several? And none of them burned? Maybe they were too old? I say get a new small box, try again and let us know, because I am now fascinated. And I know if anything will burn, you are the gal to do it.

Yes, I agree with Bonnie. In the picture of the row of crayons, there is no brown.

We need read many things on Facebook with a very open mind. Personally,I get tired of the scams that say you can win stuff,or things like that.Oh well, still lots of good about Facebook.

I have melted crayons and poured to make a molded candle...but have never heard that one would burn this way. I cannot see the color making a difference...I just think they need a wick.

The other thing, Sarah and I both think crayons are different than they used to be...makes me wonder if even the new ones could be made into a candle...

I don't even know how to explain how they are different...but they just feel different when we color.

I never thought of stocking up on crayons for a power outage. lol this seems like an experiment made for you. :)
our snow is melting today and we have more coming. Kyle is hoping he doesn't have to make up days during his spring break.

I just tried recently to soak my feet with listerine and cider vinegar. As I prepared the water, i read review it doesn't work. Since I already got the stuff, I might as well do it.

It did remove some skin, but my feet were not dry to begin with. Did tell anyone but you.

You can become a tester for goods. Could become a bit dangerous.

Sandra, this is why we have a lot of candles in our home, but not a single crayon! Thanks for disproving yet another FB post and now I know why I am not on that social media! Your altered crayon burning was much better.

Good to know. I'm thinking that maybe the paper is burning in the photo and the crayon is just along for the ride!

I love your pictures! We were without power 50 hours last week due to an ice storm. Thankfully I had some candles and flashlights handy!!! No crayons though!

I saw that on FB, too, but thought, nah, that won't work. I like your PicMonkey version. :)

I read that on FB and thought it probably wouldn't work. Glad you tried so I didn't have to. (:0)
